Hello all.

Was just wondering what a size 10 1/2 to size 11 mens shoe would be in womens shoe size.

Thanks and have a good day all!

hey red know this, all shoes and feet differ , its always best to go into a shoe store and have you foot measured  not only for length but with too , measure in both the seated and standing putting pressure upon the  foot .There is nothing worse that ill fitting  footwear no matter how cool the shoe or boot is .This is why i do not buy any shoes or boots online .Another hint i can give you : For me i buy my  shoes and boots a 1/2 size bigger and take the crappy insoles  that come with the shoe or boot and toss them .I then add a pair of Spenco insoles , trust me your feet will thank you .

Adding 2 to the men's shoe size will give you the corresponding women's shoe size.

Obviously, there are variations. Here's a website with a lot of information on shoe sizes, conversions, and measurments:

Mercnbeth (not sure who posted),

Thanks for the OD Girl link.  Given that I have size 12 wide feet (please, no jokes about "man-feet") it's always good to have lots of sources to pull from now that I can wear pretty/slutty shoes again (damn foot surgery). They have a great selection of thigh-high boots...I can't wait to get a pair.

The standard is a one size shift- 11 is a twelve. But women's shoes tend to be narrower and not come in those sizes, so I'm assuming you're buying fetish models that come in extended sizes? By mail? Make sure you can send them back! All bets are off on sizing in some of those shoes, and the proportions of some large size womens shoes are so strange they may just plain not fit.
If you can use European sizes, they're much more accurate. But that usually doesn't apply to six inch patent stillettos. And as the heels get higher, the size gets smaller.

I second the suggestion to get sized on a foot measure contraption.  Make sure you're measured for length, width AND arch length....It really helps, especially for heels

Having bought quite a few pairs of shoes, I would like to add the following
In the UK a size 9 from Evans can be a size 10 elsewhere from another outfitter, it is very similar to clothes with huge differences in sizes from retailers
Even shoe sizes advertised as 9 can vary greatly at Evans

There does appear to be very good retailer at www.shoetailor.com which has shoes and boots many widths, this should help everyone in getting correct shoes and boots

If you buy anything with a heel higher than 4 inches, add one size even on top of the conversion - the steep angle will push your toes further down into the shoe and an extra size will help...a lot...trust me...  [;)]

I wear a 13 in both mens and womens.  Go figure.
