hello all, i have been so lucky to have found the Daddy of my dreams. W/we have been together for going on three months, but are committed to one another. His birthday is coming up and i was hoping to find some input from all of you on what might be an appropriate gift. all input is and will be greatly appreciated, as i am new to the lifestyle but LOVING every single moment!

Umm...if you've known him for three months you should know what he likes, what he has or doesn't have and what would make him happy. We don't know him or you so how the hell can we know what he'd like? I mean, maybe he likes ties, maybe he likes cologne, maybe he likes bling. I dunno. I know what would be an appropriate gift for my uncle would not be the right gift for my father; ie, every man is different.

So true, Usako...you do not know him and i do...i just thought i would ask to gain other's perspectives on the subject... something more "vanilla"...something more "non"...? just trying to get ideas, i will know when the his birthday arrives.

Once again, we don't know what type of guy he is. Perhaps one more hardcore into BDSM wants a new paddle. Perhaps he needs a new pair of dress shoes. My parents tend to drop hints on when they need/want something and I usually do the same. If he's the type then it should be something to pick up on. Been to his place? Does he like art or something? If he hasn't dropped any vanilla hints and you can't figure out a decent vanilla gift...a kinky one never hurt; a new flogger perhaps? But these are all ideas coming out of my ass since I don't know him. The only good advice would be either to just be blunt and ask or pay super close attention.

My Ookami-Sama's birthday is coming up soon and I got him an Evil Stick, a Double Evil Stick and a Evil Cane. I also got him a tshirt with the kanji for Ookami on it and a coffee mug that says Old Guys Rule (he is younger than I am so it is something that amuses us both). I got him items that I know he will enjoy and appreciate. I'm sure you want to find the "perfect" gift but just relax, get him something you think he will like. I believe you will find he will appreciate the gesture well beyond the actual item.

if he has a particular fantasy ( like another girl as someone mentioned) you could get that ball rolling... or dress up in ribbons so he can take them off you and tie you up. i have a difficult time with normal presents so i end up going the 'experience' route.

Have you considered something personal within your dynamic? Perhaps write him a story, poem, or other writing that talks about what being his little girl means to you. Maybe consider doing some sort of artwork or other project that is both erotic and child-like. I have never know a good daddy, lifestyle or vanilla, that didn't love what his little ones made themselves and put their heart and soul into. Like others have said, we can only voice suggestion out of the clear blue. I hope this helps. lovingpet

it may seem kinda corny, but i love when my property makes me something by hand. the more time and effort you devote to the project the more it shows you care. i loved knowing that she was spending hours of her free time physcially devoting herself to me.

for my Daddy, i sent him nilla gifts like personalized tennis balls (since He has lessons and plays semi-pro) and/or a card. this year, i gave Him vintage jazz vinyl records by artists we both like. my advice, find something that appeals to your Daddy's interests ...after 3months, you should have some idea what he's into and not.

I usually cook for my Master on his b day. I know he loves brownies and cream puffs so i make them for him. it is something i know he will enjoy and somrthing i enjoy doing for him. Matt's littleone

Birthdays, christmas and anniversaries= nightmare for me. Ive not got alot of money so im limited as to what i can get my master. Also he isnt much help as he always says he doesnt want anything, but you cant not get anything, can you? It is mine and my masters one year together tomorrow and i rattled my brain for ages on what to get him, i have opted for something personal, which is what i prefer to do anyway. I just hope he likes it. I would like to be able to cook M some brownies or cookies as i know he loves them, but he has food allergies so its sooooo difficult! I think personal presents are the way to go, and hey why not some kink thrown in, maybe a new toy for you to share?

Make him a flogger. That would be cool. Google some patterns, and get to work. Depends, if it's a birthday thing, well that is HIS day, so it can be a quite personal thing. New body wash, some crazy-hot boxers, a meal made with my little hands. (he usually cooks, but I LOVE to cook!) And a book. Cuz daddy likes his books. I am so stealing the idea of wrapping me up in ribbons for him to unwrap and tie me up with. [:D] Hotness!

The first year my Sir and i were together, i gave him a quilt i had started. It was made in colours i knew he liked, and was looking really good. While i was designing it, he had told me that he thought it was a work of art. How could i not give it to a man who appreciated it so much!!!!![:)] That was two years ago - and i just finished it. He appreciated it because i made it, and he saw the amount of time and thought it took to make. I can never top that, so now i am screwed as far as presents go [:o] Hehe - i had been married 13 years and he didn't get a quilt. He wanted to give my fabric away!!!!! Grrrrrrrr.
