I don’t have the time to read through five pages of responses so I’ll just respond to the OP’s topic heading.

In many cultures, younger women traditionally are drawn to older men for a variety of reasons:

Firstly, it is believed that age usually equates with wisdom, something venerated in both eastern and oriental cultures. The view of beer bellies not being attractive is only so in a few cultures. In the Orient, the large belly is a sign of spiritual power. Ever see a Buddah with a six pack instrad of a large belly?

Secondly, it is also believed that older men are usually more financially established and thus are ready to provide a home for a new bride or concubine.

Thirdly, older men usually have settled down and understand who and what they are in comparison to the young bucks who spend more time in pissing contests and tend to be filled with piss and wind and bad manners. Besides which many women will say that an older man is a far better lover because he has both experience and knowledge to fall back on and has got past the belief that all a woman wants is a walking hard on to ram up her when ever the walking hard on wants……

Still I could be wrong in all of this .. I’m just a 60 year old fart who seems to always have younger women as friends (pity that none of them are into the life style but at least they are wonderful pagan lasses) as well as a 30 year old wife.

Libby is quite a lady. Almost 13 years ago she wrote me on the old Prodigy system and we've been together ever since. We complement well. I'm mainly a teacher and writer and she's an organizer and activists. She's on the board of the Leather Leadership Conference that will be having its annual convention in NYC in a few months.

Being married to a poly, bi switch is an adventure.

this thread is ancient so i'll just offer my general advice to the age impaired. I wouldn’t sweat the age stuff too much. You'll get rejected for apostrophes in the wrong place or using the word dude in a joke. Be grateful you don't have a half dozen inquiries a month from people who aren't interested in doing anything but serial fantasizing and pretending they are something they aren’t. Life is too short to waste on people who arent serious. The people who are rejecting you for your age or ignoring you because your profile isn’t to their tastes are looking for something you probably don’t want.

You can still find submissives in your local bar. I've been convinced that online isn’t a horrible random way to meet partners, but I've also found that it's not much better then just looking for girls in your area and introducing them to your dark side. In fact, it can be a lot more fun then describing yourself to anonymous strangers.

JohnWarren is such a fine man, he's almost enough to make a person wish they were submissive. Particularly when he gets that boyishly evil grin on his face while he's describing something sadistic he's done. It's cute, and kind of scary.

At 60? Probably not. I'll simply retire from thos plane of existance when I'm good and ready and not one second before. However I may also decide to piss people off and wait till the end of this millennium. There is always a chance that I may be found flat on my face with a 9mm bullet in the back of my head too, sort of depends if those who escaped when I hunted them are still pissed off with me. In any case life is still interesting, especially when you accept the fact that the chances are very remote that I'll fill another collar, not due to my age but due to the stringent requirements I have for a potential kajira. My choice ~ My ball game ~ My sand box and I'd have it no other way. I've lived my life as a warrior and if I have any say, I'll die as one.

My Daddy&Master (also partner) is 19 years my senior. While hardly ideal in terms of everyday life (my parents would be horrified [:D]) I am his simply because of who he is; and who he is has been shaped and moulded by his many varied experiences expected of one of his age. He's also a father and although that is hardly going to prove my case to others who doubt the validity of our relationship, I appreciate that his ability, capacity and drive to treat me with such tenderness, love and respect comes from both his age and his being a father to his kids. He loves me more honestly than any man ever has and his age does in fact have something to do with this.

Strike up another relationship with 19 years of difference here. My reason is simple; have you really SEEN the 20 somethings these days! I am glad Dylan is 46. Trust me a little maturity is refreshing these days.

If you are going to be with someone with that age difference though there is a couple of things you need to take into account and deal with before it happens. Fortunately we dealt with them successfully early on.

You are attracted to each other because of who they are and what they bring to the table, BUT DONT expect the 20 something to act like a 40 something nor a 40 something to act like a 20 something. That was a problem we had initially, once it was addressed everything worked well.

Another thing is you have to take into account that where each of you is at age wise in life will give you a different perspective at planning. I.E. Dylan is looking at retirement plans, I am looking at establishing my career and advanced education. By taking into account our different outlooks on personal/professional goals we tend to actually support each other very well and where we are going with our lifes.

Hmmm, im 47yo and so far i haven't found this to be true.  In fact the younger F sub's that i have contacted haven't been interested in older Dom's at all.  But i will keep looking!
