Its just not British! We're the ones who invent these games - and then foreigners (not understanding the spirit of them) go and practice just so they can win!

Except, our soccer team is doing well in the world cup qualifiers - top of their group, we have Andy Murray winning tennis tournaments and another young lad set to win the Formula 1 title - and this on top of an olympics performance well beyond any expectations of our population size. What's next? Winning the Ashes (cricket game against the Aussies that we usually get thoroughly beaten at)?

Is our sporting success going to help us ride what seems to be a bad time coming up? Or will we blow it as usual on penalties?
