Peering to one side, I see the light encompassing, blinding in its fury, illuminating completely, searing and burning to depths unknown. Initially the radiance seems to lend comfort yet pulsing within a fanatiscism can be sensed. Flinching from the brilliance, I turn my eyes away....
Only to encounter a darkness so complete it seems to choke the air...drowning sound, sensation and even thought in a void filled with manacial relentness suspecting all loyalty until even one's own motives are questioned. Shuddering from the feel of the murk surrounding, I bow my head, my eyes closed....
Slowly I feel the darkness and radiance draw nearer, draping over me as they merge into one. Opening my eyes once again, I see the waking world before me, sunlight peering into the windows of our souls as the shadows gather in the corners of our hearts.
