1wildwolf -> Maids/Chauffeurs? (12/14/2005 2:10:39 AM)

Just a query to anyone out there who wants to respond...when filling out questionnaires i often see the question how do you rate being a maid/chauffeur etc.... i can understand people who enjoy this in a D/s sense but personally i do not and so rate it quite lowly on a survey....

However...i have no problems doing chores around the house, and quite enjoy driving with people in the car/taking my Partner places...it just doesn't put me in the same (sub) mentality that other things do....

So does this mean i should actually be rating it highly or not? lol....just thought i'd throw the thought out there for people to respond to....am also curious if other people have had the same feelings with some other things?

As a Dominant, I don't expect a sub to hit subspace by cleaning my car, running errands, vacuuming the rug. However, the willingness to pitch in and the genuine desire to make my life easier are ultimatley going to lead to me being more willing to construct a scene and play with that person.

Make sense?

When everything conspires to make it happen I am sure you will very much enjoy being someone's maid or chauffeur... stop focusing on the 'task' and more on the mindset behind why a fem dom may want you to do this...

Rate it however you want, and then TALK to the person and explain exactly what you meant.

Those checklists are really only useful if you sit down with the other person and go through them together. It can really be a great 2nd or 3rd date event.

==============

that's too bad..........coz that is where "I" am at.
i hope someday You find that slave that enjoys doing house chores like "I" do and is in 7th heaven knowing he is giving his all..for Mistress.

"I" must be the ONLY one that loves it as much as "I" do..........

take care

Agree with the rate it however you want but I'd actually say talk to the person(s) with said questionaires first and see what they mean by it.

I personally only have questionaires once we've moved beyond the initial talking, the first lunch/dinner, and are in beginning formal negotiations. Then we fill it out together so we can talk and understand each other. Otherwise its just a series of words on a screen or a piece of paper and everything will be interpreted through the individual's lens.
