Just caught the trailer for the next new CSI, and you hear Gil exclaim "Our victim is a submissive. She likes pain." Anywho, CSI has always done a decent job with the kink, at least in my opinion, so I thought some of you might like to check it out. Lady Heather returns as well.

I think CSI has done a good job with all kinds of kink, from furries to BDSM to fat chicks to midgets to whatever.

Hello Folks,

Yeah Gil is back...for now. He will leave about mid season, and Lawrence Fishbourne (sp) is taking his place. But yep, Lady Heather returns. I"m not sure if it's the Tuesday following the election or they have a special CSI tonight, 9 Eastern.

And don't forget the bordello episode! That was downright funny.

there's more than that in next week's episode too.

i think Gil is a submissive himself - they're hinting at Lady Heather and him have a "special" relationship which Sara doesn't know about.

The show is on Thursdays not Tuesday so the Election won't be an issue for showing it.

Gil will be missed, but i think Lawrence Fishburne will do a fine job.

The new Lady Heather episode is scheduled for Thursday, November 6, if my cable box is to be believed.

I haven't watched television for over nine years, so I'm quite ignorant where this show is concerned. Though I'll admit I'm perhaps unfairly cynical about these subjects being brought up for the sensational entertainment of the masses, one thing that sticks with me is the subtle bridge suggesting Crime Scene Investigation=D/s. I do hope that while the masses are titilated by the "freak factor", all that "good job with the kink" outweighs the overall slant by virtue of the show's title alone.

Another show that has had some BDSM context that I thought was amusingly portrayed was on Bones. There was an episode on pony play that was artfully done as well as an episode of a Female Dominant and her male submissive partner. Too bad they were killers, but still, I really love that show.

I tend to agree, in general, however having watched the shows I didn't find it the least bit offensive. Then again, I don't particularly allow entertainment venues to sway my thoughts on things. I prefer to let experience and research on things of interest do that. As for the subconscious social bias of the masses, I tend to believe it is the individuals responsibility. Part of the problems we face, in my so very humble opinion, stem from the expectation that the media and other entertainment venues are responsible for what we think. Subconscious or otherwise, I prefer to own my thoughts and hold myself accountable for them. I find it no less difficult to give others that same courtesy.

so the girl under the girl licking the blood from the girl who was in suspension above her...you would not say is fetish? a bdsm kink? yes she did chop off her head...but previous to that..i would call bdsm kink.

isnt torture called rewards to those of us who are masochists? that enjoy pain? while yes we are not getting killed...we do go through alot of torture (i call it torture because for others it would definitely be torture). another ones torture is someone elses pleasure.

those movies have so many amazing ideas come out of them. in one of the saw movies there was a guy that was into bdsm. including the leather if i remember. he was one of the ones that got killed by jigsaw.
