Hey guys..... it's me coming to you liiiiiive from NY!
The wedding was great!!!! The weather held, it was sunny, a bit breezy, but the wedding was held in the park right by the lake.....Bear was the matron of honor (*snort*), and Francine and I were there to help Rain out.....they had a tough week, but that's coming. Rains' dress was absolutely beautiful, and Lumy-Baby was HAWT.......well, once he "scraped his face", his words, not mine! The reception was held in a local restaurant, and it was lots of fun....they had a Halloween party, and we stuck around for it....great atmosphere, there was quite an eclectic mixture of patrons there. Rain and Lumy-Baby got the first dance....the DJ was told there was a wedding party there.....it was "Lady in Red".....got pics!
The week leading up to the day was fraught with problems....the most frustrating being that their landlord, in his infinite wisdom...read STUPIDITY!!!!...decided the spray the outside of the apt building with gasoline to get rid of some beetles....that would have died of in 2 weeks anyway.....and the Fire Dept just happened to be there checking smoke detectors, and evacuated the building....they were out of the apt with literally the clothes on thier backs....and not sure if they'd be allowed back in! The best man put them and Bear up for the night, and they were actually allowed back in the apt the morning of the wedding. OY! And their fridge died too......poor Rain was about ready to rip out her hair!
So anyhoooo.....me, Bear and Lady H have pictures that we're gonna share w/everyone. So keep an eye out, we'll have some posted soon. (They'll probably have theirs in first...I'm not home yet...and I have to figure out how to do it.....where's a computer geek when ya need one?)
It was great to meet Bear and LadyH.....and Rain and Lumy-Baby. The good news is they may be coming back to the boards, so watch for them! We told them everyone missed them and passed on everyone's good wishes.
