I bet the percentage of rape victims who wish they were killed by these monsters is nearly huge.

I don't.

you know how to tell if someone wishes they were dead? they commit suicide.

Dude.  You are providing no data -- again -- and sitting back and sniping at others.  Passive aggressive, and unimpressive.  If you want to sound like a scientist, engage in the scientific method and take a position that has backing outside of your personal opinion.  All of your posts on this thread have been that of a troll, tearing down positions of others, while advancing no position of your own.

studying human action and behavior through the scientific method always fails as there are an infinite number of confounding variables that always render such studies meaningless. empiricism works great for some of the hard sciences. the variables can be reduced to mathematics and the phenomena we can see everyday can be understood in fantastic ways. and if we do find a new phenomena or if the equations aren't perfect, investigations are made as to why this is and the model is changed. hence, physics, chemistry, biology, and other real sciences (the hard sciences) are constantly being furthered by the scientific method.

the soft sciences, psychology, sociololology, economics, etc. are hampered by attempting to use the scientific method as their subjects either do not exist (in the instance of economics or sociology - as economics is a phenomena of human interaction, not an equation of equilibrium, and societies cannot be understood if one understands that societies are nothing more than the totality of individual human actors) or their subjects are entirely too self-aware, diverse, and complex (in the case of psychology).

The attractiveness of raping, and being raped, is just a primal part of our makeup.

It's ok  - Men are, in some respects, built to rape you, and you are built to be raped.  It's just a natural part of how we are.

This feels right to me. Thank you Leonidas.

Teenuh -> RE: Thoughts on Rape Play? (7/17/2009 6:14:24 PM)

While I'm into rape-play myself and think it can be a lot of fun, people that condone real rape are the lowest form of life. Other than someone that actually does it to another unwilling person.

jennage -> RE: Thoughts on Rape Play? (7/25/2009 6:35:49 AM)

I fantasize about being raped a lot.

BabyImBadNews -> RE: Thoughts on Rape Play? (7/25/2009 11:50:59 PM)

I will preface this by saying I think if you were to say you support real life actual rape than yes, it's weird.

However, you made it clear that's not what you meant, so that shouldn't even be an issue.

I think the idea of "planned rape" (for lack of a better phrase) is very sexy. Being  completely overpowered by a guy is just very appealing to me as well, so I totally get you on that.

I didn't click the links. I know very well what ravishment is, and it's never what I mean when I talk about rape play.

I believe that rape fantasies constitute the most common sexual fantasy amongst all women.  So you have plenty of company.

I couldn't agree more. You tend to find it's not so rare a fantasy or fetish on here obviously but I also have alot of vanilla girlfriends and ALL of them at some point have confessed to having this fantasy at some point in their lives. Me personally, I love rape play. Especially if it's with a stranger and someone you've met for the first time. Although, there are obvious risks for both parties, I suppose you just have to go with your gut instinct and be smart about it.

TurboJugend -> RE: Thoughts on Rape Play? (7/26/2009 7:06:02 AM)

they really should invent a different word for it. Somehow my mind can't connect rape with fantasy....especially confusing because indeed many seem to enjoy the fantasy.

TheOtherKat -> RE: Thoughts on Rape Play? (7/26/2009 12:37:41 PM)

I definitely have been a victim of sexual assault, and I also have rape fantasies. I have heard from some women that, given the correct circumstances, and the correct partner, rape play can help them gain some sort of balance and control over the situation, as they can control the outcome of it in this circumstance. However, I think it can be dangerous ground, putting so much of your tender psychological well-being in someone else's hands that may or may not have the appropriate responses to your reactions, especially if you are involved in rape play as a submissive.
