I just got back from a weekend in SW Ontario, for the wedding of Lumus and Lady Rainfire (who are taking a break from the boards at the moment). More details will be in the Random Zone, but I had to add something here, because what more positive experience can there be than a wedding? :)
The bride was radiant in red, and the groom is a distinctly handsome young man... whose sense of humour is just WRONG. [:D] Also in attendance from CM were Soul2Share and Beargonewild, who was the Man of Honour. We all got along as if we had known each other in real time forever, and shared the "excitement" of assembling favours, and getting the bride put together for her appearance. My hairdressing skills RULE, she didn't need to make an adjustment all night!
It was a happy few days, and much deserved, if only for the madly stressful few days that preceded them---among other things, the bride and groom had to be evacuated from their apartment building due to some peculiar outdoor extermination attempts by the landlord. [8|]
