This has been the subject of quite some thought and discussion on other boards.
My record in the CB3000 is six weeks so yes, I wore it to work and everything. No out even for cleaning so I had to take baths, showers wouldn't do it. I often thought (and think) about what I would say if I were discovered.
Several different scenarios come to mind. In the bathroom at work, "this is my GF's idea of,,,of I dunno but it's worth it, she doesn't want anyone touching it but her".
Being discovered by a child poses a specially difficult situation. It could happen at a restaurant mensroom or something like that. Best way, if the kid is young, what in the world is that ? "Well, have you ever seen someone in leg braces or a back brace ?", "Yup", Well, it's kinda the same thing", "Why is there a lock on it ?", "Well I have the key at home but sometimes I want to take it off and if I do bad things could happen, so it has a lock to remind me".
Carefully crafted to avoid an out and out lie, I believe it is wrong to lie to a child because they are learning and building on prior knowledge, lying to them puts something incorrect in their mind and they build on that. That means to find truth they must unlearn. In some cases lying to them might harm them more than breaking their legs. I believe alot of the world's problems would be abated if only kids grew up right, learned right and didn't have to unlearn a bunch of bullshit before they can really mature mentally.
On the lighter side I had a whole nuther scenario " It helps me with my ISP".
No, not Internet Service Provider, it is Intermittent Spontaneous Priapism. Priapism as you may know is an erection of unwanted timing or duration, and it can happen intermittently. There are many sufferers of this condition and it is rarely talked about. It can cause quite a bit of embarrassment. It is estimated that 40-60 million Americans suffer from ISP but the condition goes mostly untreated. Costs to society are enormous. ISP is so widespread that even a former President is suspected of suffering from it. It caused him to lose (or get) face in the Jewish community and there was quite a scandal. He was even impeached but not removed from orifice. Now if it can get a President impeached I think it's a pretty serious condition.
Death can actually occur as a result of ISP, usually in someone else's bedroom. All sorts of other physical harm can result from ISP, and it probably plays a role in teen pregnancy, among other social problems.
If you suffer from ISP I urge you to contact the Millers at www.CB2000.com before something bad happens. Untreated ISP can cause broken bones, bullet holes, lost friends and family and child support orders. Don't tempt fate.
