i don't know if this is the right place for this, but i was wondering how many people have gotten "hit and run" emails from others on here.

i got this message this morning from a Mistress who immediately BLOCKED me after sending it:

shut up stop the damn whining

to that i say:

this is a free country and i have as much right to express myself as anyone on this site. if you do not like it, don't read it.

I have read your profile and journal entries, and I see both of your points. You are right, it is a free country. You can express exactly how you feel. But, after reading your profile and journal entries, you do come off as a whiner. In most of your entries, you are complaining about something. And I can't help but to see it. B/c of my settings, your profile appears in my search results.

It's good to vent about the troubles you are going through. But this is kinda a "dating" site, and you don't want to send the wrong messages to potential Dommes. Please take this advice in the spirit in which it was given in.

You would be amazed how many people send and block, I get them quite a bit. Almost as much as the admire and block.......

i'll take it under consideration, thanks.

Someone complains about your whining and you run to the forums to whine about it?

Delete the email, block the sender and move on.

Michael, you're a sweet man with a good heart. You should have a profile that shines just as you do. Take a while s'day and re-read your profie & journal entries; maybe consider whether they show you in the best light. In the meantime, no one who blocks after sending an initial email is worth your time. You deserve quality people in your life; which the "hit and run" emails are not going to generate.

Or by the time you read it they've already deleted the account. What's up with that?

can't take what they're dishing out, i say.

I've had both. Those who insult or criticize and run. Either blocking or deleting their account and those who send compliments or feign interest and then likewise disappear. It is the latter who intrigue me the most. Are they so terrified of rejection that they would rather not risk my reply? If so why even bother to log onto this site?
Trust me, I won't bite..............on the first contact...................usually...

I get that often. In fact one morning this week I received an email from someone within moments after I signed on & by the time I opened it (which was 10 minutes after it was sent) the user's name already showed as black & it noted that the account no longer existed when I opened the mail.

The sad thing was that it was a proper introduction & very well written. Not the unwanted one-liner or the needy-greedy type of crap that often floods the inbox.

GO FIGURE!

FemDomHouTx -> RE: Hit and Run emails (12/18/2005 6:14:18 PM)

Makes you wonder if it wasn't someone else on the site that you have interacted with who may have generated that profile just to send that one email to you without jeopardizing their other identity............Hmmmm.

i know that some of my journal entries may be a bit whiny, but hey...they're journal entries everyone needs to vent somehow. i shall try not to bring them to the forums from now on.
