My partner and me are both dominant and both into total power exchange. When he takes me its always rough, always with a fight. At first I get angry then mean and I always find myself putting up a fight. He is obviously stronger than me and so is able to bring me down to earth with a bump but even when he has me firmly their I won't actually submit... he takes me anyway and I do admit to loving it!

When I take him its usually in a more sly way. What starts off as sensual seduction often turns into something very heated and strong. When I have him just where I want him I know he is feeling those same emotions that I feel and yet I know he eventually enjoys the moment.

I do sometimes worry that we get too rough with each other and I sometimes wish that we could just submit but when it comes down to it we can't.

It's TPEX2 which means that neither of us know from the start of something, who is going to take over.

We both know that if we gave each other up then we would both be looking for a submissive and not a dominant, so what the hell are we!!!

Personally, I don't see the necessity of labels within your releationship, as long as you are both fulfilled and happy who cares? From the outside looking in, sounds like you are both dominant, even when he takes you, and vice versa. But that's just my take on it, with the info given. Whatever ya'll are, sounds like fun!

Seriously, sounds like you both like to play with the potential for fluidity of Dominance and submission. Rock on! To me, predominantly Dominant switches comes to mind but, it seems to be working for you regardless of terms. Cheers! :>

Does the label matter? That is a genuine question, not a rhetorical one. If it does, I would see you as a Dominant Couple from your description. I personally would not identify either of you as a switch. If your play is as you say, that is topping and bottoming, so has nothing to do with orientation per say.
If it isn't an issue for you and you feel as though it's simply the way it is to have some sort of label, then I wouldn't worry about attempting to label yourselves other than with the names you have and just be who you are.

No it doesn't really matter what we are, so long as we understand each other. Our dynamics change constantly and so what we are today could be different tomorrow. We both recognise that we are edge players, sadists, masochists and explorers and interestingly enough we both do jobs that can be high risk and challenging.
Our problem is when out on the scene and people ask us what we are because unless we go into a lengthy explanation, most of which will not be understood, we actually have no ready made title.

If that happens to me, I have the easy option of saying, I am Darcy's. But before that I would tell them my name and if they really pushed it, I say I am me, see that pidgon hole you are trying to stick me in? Well I'll just fly right on out of it.
If you are comfortable with stating you are sadists or edge players or a combination, I would suggest that is always a good starting point. It's pretty well defined, and it's not sex nor orientation attatched. To practise BDSM you don't have to be an orientation like dominant, slave or switch and even if you are that doesn't confine a person to certain activities.(I am guessing ya already know that, but other people read this thread tooso I thought it worth writing)

Stephens nick is 'JustStephen' My nick on any other BDSM site apart from this one is 'Maria B' and that is my real name.
We get asked a lot by people who know us because I have up until now always been known as a Dominant and so has Stephen but truth be told I have always just been Maria and my saying is 'expect nothing of me and I won't disappoint'
