I finally met in the flesh a lad I've been chatting to, on and off, for months now. He's a pilot and was in a job where he was almost constantly on call and unable to venture far from the airport from which he flew, which was a major pain. He has secured a new position flying bigger planes which conveniently sent him to the state capital city 4 hours drive from Me for a month's training, though sadly after that, he will be thousands of km away ... back in the city I used to live in! So in between My Mum dying, necessitating a visit home, hearing I'd missed out on a job here next year so Master and I making the decision to sell up, buy an RV and tour Australia ... I was determined to make it down to the city to catch up with him. And besides, We had to go and check out RVs didn't We ... so We maneouvered 3 days and 2 nights down there with a friend here to look after the furkids. The days were busy checking out 5th wheelers and realising We have champagne tastes on soft drink budgets (now praying We find a good 2nd hand one!), but We spent both evenings with Newslave6 (his name here though he doesn't contribute to the boards ... yet  ). he is all as he described himself to Me, and while the prospects of ever getting to be 24/7 aren't great with his job commitments and Our chosen future, W/we all feel it is worth cautiously proceeding. he is relatively new to this anyway (having had one not very consistent Domme), so if nothing else, he can explore his sub side safely with Me and maybe work out what he wants in his future. And Jay gets to play a bit, much needed, it's been a while! W/we kept it purely vanilla the first night, on the second, at his desire and My pleasure I had him opening doors for Myself (and Master) and calling Me Maam, and there was opportunity for a more intimate conversation in the car which has paved the way for a first play session. Back in Sept (when Mum was moving into 24/7 care) I booked flights home pre-Christmas, in one way, I don't need them now ... but as he will be over there by then, it will be a good opportunity to get together again. Planning to spend some time showing him around his new city, and having a first play session!
So this isn't a true love or wedding announcement  ... but a positive nonetheless that sometimes it is worth talking to someone for 9 months before finally getting to meet them!

. he was a great sous-chef in My kitchen as I cooked dinner, and was very happy to kneel and give Me a lovely foot and leg massage as W/we all watched a favourite TV show. A shame I had to take him to the airport next morning without time for another play session as planned, but I will just have to pack the toys and take them across country to O/our pre-Christmas meeting! A little bit of Domme drop later in the day for Me (not really a surprise!), but a speedy recovery and now eagerly anticipating the next time.
