Oh, were you watching the regional foods thread? Bear set me madly craving nanaimo bars, and thank GOODNESS they were on the pastry tray at the L & L wedding! Saved us from having to make and eat a whole pan of them.

It is TRUE that Timmy's here in the US are just Not Good. They were for about a year, when the franchise came over, but now... well, I go to the doughnut shop in town, where they DO know about fried snackies.
