Well the obvious of throat irritation and potential damage.  I suppose someone could choke to death doing it, but I have never heard of such a case.

Suffocation is the only thing that I can think of. Maybe a chance of dislocation of the mandible.

bruising of the pharynx would be a consideration if he is too --- vigorous.

vomiting and aspiration might be a problem, if he doesn't get out in time.

HPV in the throat is horrible - have seen one person who required laser therapy every 3 to 6 months for that, and will for the rest of her life. Not saying that is how she got it, but probably.

Just as with any sex act there are a variety of diseases that could be transmitted that way.  Other than that I have always felt that the ower of the cock is at far greater risk than the owner of the throat (teeth around something so sensative).

*chuckles a little* That's would be awkward, I've always found deep throating a problem, I have a bad jaw, which occasionally locks, so the whole teeth thing is scarily real. But I do agree with atypicalsub, sexual diseases would be a risk here, a long with bruising etc. Taking things slowly and making the neccasary precautions would seem like a good idea if you're unsure.

If the man is free from diseases the only thing you have to worry about, as others have said, is him being too vigorous

That said, you shouldn't be either! It's possible to hurt yourself as much as it is for him to hurt you!

The most I've ever done is made my throat a little sore for a few hours... but it was really worth it (and I was very rigorously going down deep and then pulling back out to the head, uh, enthusiastically).

I bit/scraped the side of my tongue once... lots of blood but it healed quickly.  He was being pretty rough at the time but I think I also have pretty sharp teeth. ;)

I tend to worry more about Daddy than I do myself. I have a very small bite radius and by the time I cover my teeth, wow. All it would take is a tiny slip for him to have a major wound, but he likes living on the edge and considering I have a non-existent gag reflex, he finds it worth it! Imagine that.. haaaa!
One thing though, I do end up with lacerations where my own teeth have torn into my lips, trying to keep from hurting him. That always sucks for a few days after. Good thing I like the taste of blood!

~fr~

I've only ever had a sore throat and a hoarse voice.  Although it's funny when I go into work and someone says 'awww...you got a cold?'.  I can't really reply with the real reason

I get that too! Usually, though, it's just bruising on the insides of my lip (especially my upper lip), and they swell a little the day after. I think *that's* really what they mean by DSLs.

A little gagging, sometimes choking and coughing, and of course the risk for scrapes from teeth.  Really nothing dangerous though, in the absence of other factors like STDs.

everyone has pretty much nailed all aspects, but I cannot remember if anyone said or talked about dislocating a jaw.  If one cannot open their mouth far enough this might be a concern.

Just my 2 cents

I have to concur with others here.  I've been hoarse for a day or two & the bruising/abrasions on the inside of my lips, but other than that, nothing awful has happened to me.  There's this one man who's quite, ummmm, large & it took me awhile to get there but I did finally deep throat that one too without any damage at all.

The only injury I've ever suffered from deep throating was biting my own lip when the stud got a bit overly enthusiastic.  My throat is quite willing to stretch to accomodate a well endowed man as long as he lets me work up to it.  I used to know a guy who was about as big around as my wrist.  It would take about 30 minutes for me to stretch my throat and swallow it all the way down but once I did he couldn't stop moaning.  Afterward I could feel my throat slowly returning to normal for a couple of hours.  It sent wonderful rushes through my body every time my jacket collar brushed my throat.

The one thing to worry with DT is causing abrasions to the throat. These abrasions are now a site for STDs to get into your system.

RE: oral...the saying is spit or swallow...just dont hold! and do it fast (the spit or swallow).

Now if STD is not a worry ....HAVE fun! Love to have my s show me how much she enjoys.....
