-=It’s Freezing, is there an ice age coming?=- Its 42°F outside, I feel like the abominable snowman over here. I just spent the night by the fireplace at my GFs house. When I left, I stated up the truck and saw vapors fogging out of the exhaust, I turned on the front and rear defrosters… I was freezing. I haven’t owned or worn a coat in 10 years. Jesus, I’m on Daytona Beach for heaven’s sake, it’s supposed to be warm here! I was beginning to worry that Daytona Beach was just colder than Sarasota but I just checked and it’s 49°F over there and they are freezing their butts off too. Is there an ice age coming? Is it unusually cold where you are right now?

Well crap, RS. I just sent you a cmail, asking you to enjoy the warm weather down there for me. Now I find out there is no warm weather? If you're gonna freeze, you might as well come up here and do it. (innocent ploy to lure RS here so I can give him a great big squishy hug) purely innocent does that whistling thing to make that claim seem legit [:D]

And I'm predicting that it's a cold winter... Like Highs in the single digits... ::shrugs:: eh... Maybe I'll get "stuck" at my Sweets' house for like weeks at a time.... :-) (I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!) Edited to add that I swear, I was kidding about the Sissy thing...

ah, well, then y'all will hate me! we're heading into summer. right now it's t's and flip flop weather with cool nights. pretty soon it'll be air conditioner and sunscreen and beach weather. i'm seriously thinking of starting to trek down to the beach for a walk after work some nights. we went to a beachside cafe for a going away party at work today, and the water was turquoise and green and blue ....

I was a macho polar bear when I lived up north in Michigan. I went hunting in the winter and would get so hot from trekking through the woods, I’d take my jacket off and wear just a t-shirt. I have stood on the northern most point in the upper peninsula of Copper Harbor when there was 5 feet of snow and it was below zero. I know what it is like to go outside and have your nasal passages and sinuses freeze solid in sub zero weather. I don’t miss it though. I moved back to Florida 11 years ago and my blood thinned out. I am not good with anything below 70 and would gladly move further south as required to maintain that. I will never go back to live in the snowy regions.

It is too darn cold here in Maryland tonight. My privates shriveled up as soon as I stepped out of the door today. Then they froze up a moment later.

I'm about to return to the small human generators who have taken up sleeping space in my bad tonight. I was laying down, watching tv with them before 8 p.m., and I went out and they "sammiched" me. I woke up to arms and legs thrown all around. Now, I'm going back for more heat. I get precious little space to sleep on, but they sure do send out the warmth. Night, all.
