Okay, so I have sounded like a whiny petulant brat the last couple of days. So sue me (good luck with THAT).
Does it matter that the pistachio thing had fruit cocktail in it? (shudder) Does that justify the whining? (say yes, for the love of all that is holy, say yes) At least she left the nuts out of it.
I do have much to be thankful for. I have a decent place to live and have my kids. I have a job (okay, multiple jobs, but you get the point); people seem genuinely happy to see me when I walk into a room (which baffles me every time, but whatever); my best friend buys me flowers every week and lunch almost every day to tell me that she is thankful that I agreed to work together (I handle the really difficult situations at work); and I know how to do "stuff" (which means that I have great mental retention ability for things I should have forgotten long ago).
I'm sure there's more, but if I put it all down, I'll have to go throw rocks at a bird or something.
