Status: offline 		We did not argue about milk, BK.. or anything else, actually(we actually agreed about the milk).. he was too busy being stunned by the differences between US grocery stores and UK stores...LOL

Which was no more or less stunned than *I* was the first time I went into a UK store....

Status: offline 		awww, of course you're a couple Hol...  There's beef, and cheese at the deli counter.  They're from cows, thus, they're milk!  (Sausages are also vegetables, trust me on this one).

And agreeing on the milk!? O.O  That's dangerous waters there GT.  ;)

I'm glad things are going well for you guys, and, did he bring any jelly babies with him from the UK?  If not, send him back and tell him not to return without at least 5 1kg bags.

Fresh meat is limited . however the packaged stuff is much better value.

I only go to supermarkets when I have to .... (this , as I put on the webpage just , was cheaper and more fun than Disneyworld) I don't know if I got used to them here if I'd feel the same but found the staff VERY polite in a sort of "have a nice day" way .... that would help

Everything comes in bigger packages

They don't sell Bassets Jelly Babies which demonstrates very poor taste

It is traditional in the UK to state your "preferences" when discussing Jelly Babies (don't panic ..... )

My preference is the green ones and I like to bite their heads off first .... So .... what colour do you go for and which bit do you eat first ? (actually ..... sounds like a thread title in disguise but I'm being serious..... it's the way it's done)
