Master is loving and caring....... yet firm and strict. i wouldn't want Him any other way.
There has to be a balance.

Oh well this changes the question completely for me personally. I know a lot of fellas that cross-dress and a few are very good friends of mine but there could never be a romantic connection for me personally. It definitely would make me uncomfortable but I am just one girl and if you are asking if there are any subs that would like their dom to dress up ...well the answer would undoubtedly be yes. Good luck to you and embrace who you are in all facets and you will get what you need.

I don't have any issue with a guy that cross dresses, but I am not interested in a relationship with one. 

As for the other, I think people tend to mistake softness and gentleness as being strictly feminine traits, and they aren't.  My Master is very much a manly man, but He can be just as soft and gentle with me as He can be hard and rough.

And I don't want Him to get in touch with His "feminine side", I want Him in touch with MY feminine side. [:)]

Any time you have a fetish or desire that moves farther away from the "norm" (whatever that is), you are going to find it more difficult to find a compatible partner.  But it's not impossible.  There are a variety of cross dressers at our local club who all have partners, some more than one!

Just be honest about who you are and what you desire.

I was asking how YOU defined the characteristics, personally.

I asked mostly because there's often a mismatch in definition and you do seem to have suggested that macho, masterful guys are either hiding part of themselves or afraid to show part of themselves.

feminine components of the psyche. For a male the feminine component is the anima, and for a female it is the animus.
and this supression is taught though the world that outward expression in simple ways  ie pink for girls blue for boys  crying in public is not a manly.
Has early has the the year of the 70s for man to wear a pink sweater would be seen has femine here in the uk of course men were still men but concerning Glam rock men wore lipstick dressed in dress  and some wore girl shoes and make up were they transsexual or gay or course not  but this is not my point of my post  but has for my personal take on the subject it is my oringnal post

I would have to say that my Master/Daddy shows His softer side when he needs to. it proves He is HUMAN not a robot I don't honestly think I could have handled dealing with a robotic man he's human and i love him for that

More seriously, no Valyraen isn't afraid to show me any side of him. I have seen him cry and held him. I am happy to serve him in this way because I know it shows how close we are.

Master T and I are fully open to one another.  He tells me everything as do I.  He has shown his softer side as well as his macho side.  He is deeply caring and loving in all ways...and he is a loving Master even when he is training or punishing.

It depends on how you define those concepts. My Owner and I have a very unusual and complicated relationship, as such, I don't see the sides of Him that other people in His life see. I think all people have different sides to their personalities, and I think they have certain people in their lives who only see one side, and others who see everything. Just because I don't exactly see every aspect of my Owner doesn't diminish my relationship with Him in any way, nor does it lessen my understanding of Him and what He needs from me.

That said, there are plenty of times when Master is very kind and gentle with me. He understands me perfectly and He knows when He needs to be more controlling and when He needs to be more 'human'.

I have seen and felt it.  Some do, some don't.

I used to make the mistake of thinking that the gentle side was weak (or feminine, as you put it), and that a dom couldn't afford to be anything other than strong and harsh.  I fucked up a couple of relationships that way.

Now I don't mind showing the gentle side when it comes out naturally.

I'm speaking with someone now to whom I said the other day, 'You know, you're a really NICE guy!"  He asked me today if that was a bad thing. lol   He said being nice had come back to bite him in the butt when pursuing a submissive because he didn't act 'domly' enough.  I reassured him it was a very good thing, because I know there's another side to him that attracts me equally well, and I need both nice and nasty in a man.  Depends on your tastes, I suppose.

*fast reply*  Sir has a soft side and I see it quite offen. Sir also has his very manly rough side. I see all of him. I love them both just as much. The rough side turns me on and gets juices flowing, but the soft side does things to my heart that the rough side can't quite touch.

i have been owned twice . a Daddy Dom, and a Master, and niether of them hid thier soft side, i saw both of them when they were in low places ive even seen them cry, i honestly dont think i could comfortably live with a Dominate who didnt show thier soft side, after all they too are human and have feelings
