hello everyone

i had an experience that made me see life in a different light. it was something i never heard happening before.

i will be graphic, well i had not eaten all day and i went to a Friend home they were making barb cue they are dear friend and i took a piece and took two bites . i felt something in my throat . i swallow but it would not go down . i thought it would go down with a drink of soda to make me Burg . but this was at one pm i started to throw up it was just went i drink something, i then just throw up for 8 hours . i was slowly smothering i did not know that i could have this happen . i was over someone house i could not walk home after a time i became weak. i finally called my twin and she was mad as hell, becasue i called her hours later . at PM. i then went to the Dr. i stood them throwing up my own saliva it was so scary the try 7 up to see if the bubble would make me have it come up .  i came up as fast as i swallow . they use forceps on me to see if they could see it . finally they had to call in a special team for me to have ER operation i never throw up so damn much .i waited to long and after the operation i could not eat anything harder then yogurt now i ate my first food last week , my throat was so sore they told me to not eat anything and i have pills that were to big so i have to have it turn to a liquid form . the pain i had when i had the food stuck there was so painful i was screaming , so i am telling everyone if you get food stuck there do not wait get it out if i had gone sooner i would not had to go through the nightmare . and lord watch what you give the kids

Consider yourself lucky, stuck in a slightly different place it could have blocked your windpipe requiring the Heimlick(sp) maneuver.

It might take some time to get back to normal, but you will. Best of luck. It beats being ten toes under, or was that six feet up ? Whatever.

Yikes!!!  That sounds awful.  I hope you get to feeling better soon.  I don't think I have had such an experience, but I will remember to chew, and chew more, since I'm more of an inhaler.  However, little man put something in his mouth that he shouldn't have, and swallowed it, you could tell by the look on his little face that it scared him, luckily we got it out.  It was a little charm from a charm bracelet that I thought was long gone because the little buggers kept falling off.
