Aftercare, whether after play or punishment, is ensuring the health and well-being of the sub/slave/bottom. For some this is cuddling and telling the sub how pleasing they are, for some it involves ointment on welts, it all depends on the situation and the couple in question. If you are being beaten and then have to get up get dressed and go on with your day, i must agree with the other posters that this sounds more like abuse than scening. Hard and heavy is all very well if you enjoy it, but there should be concern for your well being, both physical and emotional.

For me, discipline and punishments are different. my job keeps me on the road much of the week, so if i am to be disciplined, my Master uses the things that i like and takes them away for a certain amount of time. ie..... orgasms, talking with sub friends, or extra reading depending on the crime. It is funny because i am at the end of such a discipline and can say that i will try very hard to not repeat the transgression!

The dripping of hot candle wax on sensitive areas is one that would get my attention. I say would because I am uncollared, never have been collared yet wants to be collared. Those of you that are collared and living the life are so lucky. Can't find one here in Toledo, Ohio.

Any response here is purely conjecture---as an avowed "expert" in many Dominant areas, one would think you had studied this--however, the ultimate is negotiated, determined with the individual sub for what works with one, will not work with another.

Yes....having to Stand in the corner, for a period of time. I HATE THAT ! I go to sessions for Bondage and Gags, and not to just stand in the corner. This was done to me only once, and I never done anything I wasn't supose to after it, to get punished like this again.
