WOW....we went to see him last night and it was amazing! http://www.reverendhortonheat.com/index.php We saw him here in Little Rock at "The Village" http://www.thevillagelive.com/ It's an old movie house converted into a music venue now. We were just a few feet back as Backyard Tire Fire opened http://www.backyardtirefire.com/ ................then Nashville Pussy rocked out http://www.nashvillepussy.com/ then came the Heat! AWESOME[image]http://www.collarchat.com/upfiles/smiley/insane.gif[/image] Just throwing that out there to see if anyone else has seen them and loved it like we did and...if not....to let you know to check all these guys out. I would love to see them. I love some of their songs! I can't imagine them in concert! lol They are pretty wild! I love 'In your wildest dreams' (not sure if that is the exact name, but is what I remember lol) and Jezebel.

Yeah, they did "Jezebel" and tons of other faves like "Fucked Up Ford," "Bales of Cocaine," "Psychobilly Freakout," "Big Little Baby," and many others. Man, is the Reverend cool. He's just so smooth and laid back and Jimbo (the bass player) is a trip. It was like having them in your own living room and a little mosh pit formed right in front of the stage. The Reverend was interacting with the crowd and had a great sense of humor. Man, what a night[:D]....................luci And, oh yeah, they've now done a Christmas album so they did about three songs from it. The most rockin' Christmas songs you've ever heard...."Run, Run Rudolph" rrrrrrrocked!!!!![:)]

OMG, yeah they were there. They left my head hurting and my ears feeling half-full of cotton[8D]. The women in that band are sooooo hot and they really rocked out last night. You missed it dude.............luci

dont make me cry I saw them once in a dive bar and the leader singer guy was sooo drunk, but it was an awesome show. They play real dirtbag bar-room brawl rock for sure.

Yeah, "Shoot First and Run Like Hell" always cracked me up. They did "Go, Motherfucker, Go" too. That's a pretty basic title[;)]. The lead singer (Blake) talked about growing up in KY and that lead into a really good song of theirs called "Hate and Whiskey." He told about how they did some recording in Willie Nelson's personal studio and got high with Willie. The Reverend really holds them in high regard even though their music is slightly (lol) different. It was a blast getting to see them so up close and personal. Rider burns her axe up! It's a show I won't soon forget.................luci
