So I've been officially looking for a few months. Started of just looking through profiles here and there and then started sending out messages about a couple of months later after I had a good opportunity to scope out.

I had a horrendous message to response ratio. And was getting kind of irked at the messages from people who either had no idea about what they were looking for, were online only, or just wanted to string others along for their own amusement. I'm still not sure what category a majority of these fell into.

I started messaging with a couple people and one dropped off and created a new account and another just stopped responding.

Then I received a message from someone thanking me for my service, telling me that I would like Bragg. I found out she had family in the military that was from Bragg and we started talking. We talked about what I did and how long I'd been in. We also talked about her interests and what she did.

I had left Ft Lee and was on my way back home and using collar me via cellphone internet on computer and kept messaging with her. Eventually I gave her my cell # and we started texting as I was driving.

We then went to phone calls. She called me as I was driving through West Virginia and we talked for about 30 minutes before my cell lost service for about 2 hours. I was bummed. Eventually I got out of the dead-zone (middle of nowhere) and called her back. We spoke for about 2 hours about various things and then when I was about an hour out she called to help keep me awake. During this we talked about her schedule and the possibility of meeting and decided that we could meet on Wednesday. Later on I realized how right I was feeling as opposed to anything else I had felt before and not only did I really want to meet her in person but I had a friend ask me to drive her down to Georgia to pickup stuff from her husband. So we ended up deciding that I would drive up to meet her on Monday and would stay the night. We so badly wanted to cuddle with each other.

Well staying with the parents over block leave kind of has disadvantages, especially with mothers being as nosy as mine is and wanting to know about everything you're doing. Needless to say she was not pleased to find that I was going to drive 3 hours to meet a girl. She got over it though.

I started off on Monday evening about 3 ours before she got off and we met at a Dunkin Donuts close to where she lives. I had a coffee and we sat and talked for about an hour.

After this we went back to her place and curled up on the couch and watched a couple of movies. No it was getting HOT. We placed a little bit and fell asleep in each others arms.

This is SO SO right and I am going back to see her on Tuesday and she's going to be introducing me to family. And I will be formally collaring her.

We've talked about it and in time (close to about six months) she will be moving down to North Carolina to live with me.

Chalk up another success story to a great site.
