a favorite theme at this convention seems to be distinguishing accidents caused by kinks from actual crimes. there are a lot of workshops and lectures on topics like autoerotic asphyxiation by hanging, play kidnappings and the like. last year there was one on erotic drowning. things about this:
-law enforcement is on to it
-i can learn more about kinks here surrounded by my peers than at a sex workshop
-you're probably not careful enough !!! if it amounts for enough cases to get it's own day-long workshop
-the professional conference is going to be waaaaaay more interesting for me
-maybe i'll lecture on something bdsm related to a bunch of cops someday!
btw, even if they determine it was an accident, it's still manslaughter. so be more careful!
