Harbor
with much gratitude to Lady Angel

He suddenly looks around the diner, bleary, red eyes widening in alarm.

"Oh, god, I'm so sorry!" he groans.

"For what?" she asks, her own eyes never leaving him.

"Everybody's left," he says. "You came here to have a good time and hang out with your friends, not listen to some pathetic loser whine all night about how his Mistress doesn't love him anymore!"

"There will be other munches," she replies calmly. "And I do not waste my time with pathetic losers. The fact that you are so sensitive, so capable of such depths of emotion, speak well of your gifts as a sub, I would say."

"Thank you," he says glumly, closing his eyes and resting his head against the cool glass of the window.

She sighs and slides out of the booth, standing.

"All right, that's quite enough. Come with me!"

He straitens up and stares at her curiously.

"Where?"

"Back to my place, of course."

His eyes widen with genuine astonishment.

"Do... you... normally... invite strangers home that you've only just met?"

Her eyes meet his coolly.

"Never."

He follows her car home and pulls up along the curb as her garage door closes. She meets him at the front door and holds out her hand before allowing him to enter.

"Give me your keys," she says. They jangle softly, his hand shaking a little as he passes them to her.

She lets him enter and closes the door behind them. He struggles to think of something to say, but her hand whips out, seizing the collar of his shirt and she slams him roughly against the wall; picture frames rattling noisily.

He breathes in a long, shuddering gasp, staring deep into her bright, burning eyes.

"I know what you need, boy," she hisses.

"The problem with clever, sensitive boys like you is you think too fucking much! If I'd let you go home, you'd have just spent the rest of the night letting all those thoughts churn round and round that head of yours, tormenting yourself without end. So if you're going to be suffering anyway, why let it go to waste, yes?"

"I.."

She slaps him hard with her free hand. Confusion and terror ripen in his eyes as a bright red welt forms upon his cheek.

"SHUT UP!" she snaps. Holding his shirt, her knuckles pressed into his collarbone, she can feel his heart beating wildly.

"I'm not making any promises. About next week, next month, the future... But, I know what you need tonight, boy! And what you need is for somebody to exorcise all those useless thoughts by treating you like the nasty little fucktoy piece of meat that you were born to be!"

She releases his shirt but reaches up and grabs a fistful of his hair instead, yanking it downwards. He follows, yelping in pain as she forces him down onto his hands and knees.

"GO!" she snarls, delivering a hard kick to his ass. He begins to shuffle forward blindly.

"Crawl up to my bedroom like the slut that you are!" she yells.

On his blushing cheeks, fresh tears glisten. Of joy, gratitude, or a lingering sense of bitter loss, even he cannot say.
