We had an ice storm last week which left me three days without power and tomorrow we're getting damn near a foot of the white stuff. Bah humbug!

I wanted to answer either both or neither. For personal reasons this year I'm bowing out gracefully from Christmas but wouldn't want this to spoil anyone's enjoyment, given that it is almost certain that this is going to be my last Christmas alone for a long time. Bah! Humbug! I would say to the adverse situations I have found myself in of late, never to people. However 'Joy to the world' is something which occurs daily for me and is my way of looking at the world, and therefore I don't need a Christmas or any other reason to have such an attitude, as I have it already on a daily basis towards people.

Being a Man, I am often mistaken for an overgrown adolescent anyway but, I do love the spirit of the holidays! Bad economy be damned, no doom and gloom for me....I am going to enjoy it!...revel in it!....and find reasons to smile! I hope everyone here can do the same!
