I don't need EMT Shears or safety sheers since I am not into bondage, and the whole point of safety scissors is to be able to safely cut someone free from bondage or other binding situations.


Frankly and honestly, I don't care what are the most common. And what is "common would vary person to person.

I care about stocking my toy bag with items I like and apply to me and the ones I play with.

And most of the stuff you already mentioned (OP) along with an antique pot scubber, really old whisk broom, a mindfold, beaded floggers (a totally different sensation! Right Erin?) leather straps, quirts, vipers and zippers... oh my. And I finally got my single tail! Violet wand and sharp pointy things.
 
Not that I've got anyone to use this stuff on.... But I get to practice my single tail on my son (he's grown and kind of strange anyway).

Not sure on the meaning of the term "Common" in the context of the heading though..Does it refer to:
  1. Most commonly used implements
  2. Implements used by "common" folk...

Status: offline 		Usually in most peoples houses they have a painbrush or two in a drawer or closet some place, might be in the garage or in the basement. Sometimes a wall or door needs some touch up painting.
If it is a horsehair brush, not only could you give a good slap with one, the soft bristles on tender skin is delightful.
Another thing, but it would require someone to teach you is 'threading'.
Does the use of food count as a source of common implements since everyone has a fridge/freezer?
