It would be serve a landlord and their tenants as their apartment building's maid and bitch. Ideally my room would be provided as somewhere out of the way, perhaps with me chained and the key out of my reach but with in the tenants reach for when they needed me, and my food would be provided as a reward thus both room and board would be provided cheaply allowing me to be available 24/7.
