Everytime I see someone mention punishment in public lots of people say you shouldn't involve the general public or it's not appropriate, and sometimes I agree.

HOWEVER I also know there can be punishment that id deadly and swiftly effective, and nobody would ever notice or bat an eye.

this thread is to talk about all the ways you could punish your sub or slave THAT IS APPROPRIATE FOR PUBLIC.

So, to be appropriate, by the standards of this topic, nobody would notice or care and you wouldn't get arrested or fined if caught. Because there's nothing to "get caught doing"

For example, Lets say we're out on a date, if we're supposed to be having a great lunch and dessert and top it off with buying a new sex toy for us to use together, and at home then we'd have a very sexy night, lets say, and then you misbehaved, I'd make you sit quietly at the table and you wouldn't get the fabulous lunch you would of been having if you'd behaved. If I let you have lunch at all it'd be something I knew you hated like fish.

And when we went to the sex shop I'd make you stay in the car While I picked something out and had fun buying it , Then when we got home I'd make you sit somewhere else while I tried out the new toy.

The punishment wouldn't be infringing on any one else's rights, and it wouldn't be outright obvious, but you're not getting to partake in the fun anymore because you couldn't or wouldn't behave and the punishment is clearly obvious to you, while nobody else is none the wiser, now you have to watch me having all the fun and keep shut about it. That would be a mighty effective punishment in my mind, to see all the fun you could of been having but for bad behavior.

It's perfectly appropriate, nobody would care the man at my table wasn't eating a fancy lunch or didn't buy dessert. But my sub sure would mind, and he'd know he's not getting any fancy lunch or he's eating lunch but it's something he hates cause he decided not to behave.

Another Example would be if say we were at a party and he wasn't listening to me, I could go make him stand outside for 25 minutes, while I stayed in and socialized. And if my sub was anything like me, being made to miss the party, would really make me wake up and behave instantly. And if it didn't then he could just go home, and spend the rest of the night in solitary in the bathtun sleeping, with no tv and no fun.

Again that punishment is very very appropriate and can be done anywhere, even around minors.Which more than anything about annoying vanilla's was why people objected to punishment in public cause minors could see it.

Another good example, would be if I wasn't being pleasing to Daddy in public, he could refuse to hold my hand a while I was misbehaving. Because I LOVE walking hand in hand everywhere, when possible and if he with drew that well I'd start behaving so I could enjoy that.

public punishments are tricky sometimes, depending on what you're both into. humiliation may be something someone enjoys, so if someone were to notice, say the rustle of the diaper a submissive was forced to wear in public under their clothes, the submissive might find that exciting. your idea of ordering a meal the sub hated was a good one. what about being made to walk x-number of feet behind and carry all the bags? not holding hands might be something the sub would desire, say after a dust up where he/she wanted a little space to cool off, so being made to hold hands itself could be a punishment. alot depends on the dynamics of the relationship.

Pm, oooh the reverse idea of forced hand holding is a good one.

Some Domme's make the subs carry the bags and walk a number of feet behind anyway, punishment or not. So what if the punishment was NOT to carry the bags if the sub liked carrying the bags from the day of shopping?

When a slave acts up in public, a gentle caress of the cheek followed by a pinching of the earlobe between the fingernails is quite effective. Subtle as to not be noticeable, yet quite effective in getting the errant slave's attention focused on my displeasure.

If holding hands, a pinch of the fingertip is also quite effective. Press hard on the fingernail of their most sensitive digit to achieve maximum effect.

If the slave is self conscious, she won't scream for fear of causing a scene. Maybe a soft whimper, but that's it.
