I enjoy the newness of the year, the possibilities that may lie ahead, and have a general plan for the year, in terms of things that I wish to work towards or hope to happen. But I don't make resolutions 'cause I never upheld them in the past and it's just setting myself up for failure. I also find myself a bit introspective the last few days of the year as I review the year that's ending. This year has been a bit of a doozy for me in a few ways, and gives me a lot of food for thought.
