knees2you -> Netherlands wedding. (1/2/2006 8:44:44 PM)

I Was listening today on the radio
here in Las vegas, and they where
saying that a Married man had another ceramony
with another Woman and his wife together.

Basically uniting the Three of them.

One step closer to legalizing Poly?

I believe you are referring to the case of Victor de Bruijn and the cohabitation website he signed with two women. A Belgian website wrote up an article on it http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/301 claiming that it fulfilled the right wing concern that gay marriage would lead to the legalization of polygamy. Three months ago, conservative bloggers and commentaters in the U.S. seized upon this as an "I told you so" moment.

Honestly I don't know if a cohabitation contract is the same as a civil union. I have read that it is a good deal less - basically something college students (or older persons) might sign if they were sharing a household to save expenses.

This might just be a non-issue.
