Mistresses:
I am completely new to the BDSM lifestyle, and have been on CM for about one month. So far, only two people seem to have noticed me at all for me to talk with. I was hoping that one of You Gracious Ladies might take the time to help me flesh out my profile, that I might be more noticeable and also able to share my thoughts.

Many thanks for reading this message, and more thanks for any feedback I recieve.

Are you saying that you have posted the profile & have not had anyone contact you?

If that is the case then you will have a very long wait ahead of you. Women often receive tons of mail & do not necessarily browse profiles that often.

As to your profile, check your spelling.

Writing a good profile is a start but keep in mind... are you going to keep a person's interest once contact is made. You express you have no future plans... not too promising.

Your young, your just starting out, you have lots to learn & none of this is a bad thing. What is a bad thing is thinking you are going to be able to immediately jump in & partner up. As you become more involved & get a chance to talk to others (the forums is a great place to do this) you will learn that many of us have been involved in this for many years, are very experienced, yet remained single for many years.

Good luck!

Speaking as a male a must agree with Mstrss Passsion.

The numbers ratio on here must be something like 10 to 1 at least. Also, despite the dynamics of a Domme/sub relationship, there are still traditional gender rols that play a part ... that is to say, men typically do the persuing. You will have to send out PMs and such, and ALWAYS be truthful and polite.

There is a pic on your profile .. that is a big help. I might suggest more than one pic. Close head shot (like you have) and a full body shot. Believe me, looks are not that important, but seeing that it is a real person is.

Most of all, have patience, and good luck!

BeachMystress (who doesn't post here very much any more) wrote a useful outline for writing a BDSM profile. It is written for a dominant, but you can easily change things around to make it work for a submissive.

Sound advice. Both the link and the things you say on your profile!

I find that I have a good measure of success by merely not even having expectations. I like people, I like talking to people. Sometimes I write PMs just to compliment them for something they said. Sometimes I send PMs to people too far away just because they are interesting.

I have not grouwn so old that I have too many friends ;)

Anyway, I have learned a lot, talked to many, even met a few.

What a wonderful and weird world we have (and I don't mean just the BDSM part ;)
