MstrDennynSlave -> Jelly toys (1/6/2009 11:56:10 AM)

I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I'm wondering if anyone knows what material jelly toys are made from. My master used to use a jelly rabbit on me.  He used it quite often last summer. I also had numerous bladder infections, and yeast infections all summer long. He also tried using a jelly butt plug too. I would get a stinging, burning pain everytime he tried to insert it. At first we thought maybe it was too big. He used a hard plastic butt plug that was bigger in diameter then the jelly one, and no problems. In October last year, master tried using the jelly rabbit, and I had immense burning, and stinging. Felt like I was being set on fire. Since Master has quit using the rabbit, I've not had any bladder infections or yeast infections.  There must be some component of the jelly that I'm allergic to. We are staying away from all jelly toys. But we would still like to know what they are made from.

Jelly toys have phthalates added to them. It's a plasticizer that is used to keep them soft and pliable. It is very toxic and carcinogenic. It leeches out of the toys and can not be washed away. The only way to use them safely is to cover them with a condom. Personally I wouldn't take the chance.

There have been several threads here about toxic toys.

It stings and burns because your skin is having a reaction to the chemicals in the toy. Your best bet for good quality toys would be glass, Pyrex, Mettle provided you're not allergic to them, or Good medical grade silicone. Those do n ot have icky nasty chemicals that the skin reacts to and or they off gas, unless you're allergic to the material.

Cover your jelly toys with a condom and the problem should be solved....That's what I do at least. It also makes clean up easier in my opinion.

YourhandMyAss -> RE: Jelly toys (1/6/2009 3:16:57 PM)

porcelain, Yeah but then for me at least the crap that burns my pussy parts is on my hands from handling the toy to put the condom on , and then when I touch said pussy parts the residue on my hands burns said pussy parts. I won't get jelly toys at all. And it ended that problem.

Thank you everyone for the replies. I am leery of using condoms on the toys as I'm very allergic to latex. The non latex condoms arent as thick as the latex ones, and I'm afraid any chemicals would leach through the condom. Master has used cyber skin toys on me since and no problems with those. I knew I was allergic to whatever was in them with the reaction I had. I've even had some trouble with a lube that master has used. A tingly lube, that stings and burns also. Master said he wont ever use it again either. Again, thank you everyone. I really appreciate all the information.

Some time in March 2007 I read a thread about this
"Toxic Sex Toys - by BeachMystress"
She quoted this web link for Greenpeace's stand.

Condom or no, I'm not putting these in me.
LOL BEsides, with tons of produce who need fake plastic things.

DavanKael -> RE: Jelly toys (1/6/2009 7:04:51 PM)

Silicone toys as well as glass are hypo-allergenic.
The jelly toys suck; they smell bad and deteriorate strangely.
For soft toys, the superior materials I noted above are a great bet.

I hate the smell of jelly toys... I just have to bite the bullet on the expensive silicone ones... at least they can be boiled. I had the same burning reaction with a ball gag... gnarly.

Wash your hands after applying the condom.

DreamyLadySnow -> RE: Jelly toys (1/8/2009 5:51:08 PM)

The chemicals are there, even with a condom. There may not be any skin contact but the fumes are still toxic. Toss em in the trash and get some good silicon toys. You're worth it.

YourhandMyAss -> RE: Jelly toys (1/22/2009 1:54:28 AM)

hehe yeah, that's real erotic, Scuse me honey hold that thought while I put on clothing and  run into the house to wash my hands,* We live in a garage, no running water here*

I'm sure you could make the need to wash hands after handling a toy sexy, but I'll pass and just get good quality toys that don't leach toxic fumes and burn my skin when I touch it [:D]

I'm allergic to the jelly toys also.  Tossed em all and won't waste money on another one.  They're nasty...

DavanKael -> RE: Jelly toys (1/22/2009 11:23:14 AM)

Already replied when this thread was newer.  In a re-read, in response to someone's suggestion about produce, believe it or not, you need to worry about allergies too.  I believe an example of this would be cucumbers which, if I recall properly, can cause allergic reactions in people sensitive to ragweed (Or some other common weed).  I guess if you're going with the food theme, though, you could food-storage-bag it and put a twist-tie on top, lol.  :>

Actually, The few times very early on I tried food stuff as a sex toy I put a condom on it, but then again you do have to worry about allergies that way too, like a latex allergy.

hmmm try 'organic' sex toys... It is all natural.

Should problems persist fro more than 4 hours use your safe word and get him an ice pack while you drive him to the ER.
