You sound a little like me, Pomme lol. Part of the reason for my actual mild compulsive biting problem is ( and the reason I have moderate sleep apnea lol ) my lower jaw is much narrower than my the upper jaw. If you look at my other pics, the one of me in the black with red flowers outfit, you can see my general facial structure is triangular, with a small chin.
The reason for the sleep apnea is because if I lay on my back, my lower jaw ( I have a very mild overbite because my two front teeth are longer. I wanna get them filed so my fangs stand out more :D ) will ease back and cut off my airway a bit.
If I lay on my side though, it isnt a problem, though if I dont have my hand next to my jaw, I will wake up in the morning with a burning pain in my neck and mouth due the awkward position my jaw ends up in. I don't mind a sore mouth from oral sex, but this hurts in an entirely non-fun way I tell ya!.
