Status: offline 		Saw, I saw someone who had a tattoo wrapped around one of his fingers, and it gave me an idea I was thinking about mentioning to my Mistress. We are married, and have talked about getting some special tattoos for each other in the past. Both of us already have a few each, I have 2 and she has 3, so getting some done isn't something either of us have a problem with. Once I saw that, I knew what I wanted though. I was thinking of something like Pet or Owned wrapped around my finger where my wedding ring would cover it. That way it would always be there for me to see and feel, but still subtle. Just excited about talking to her about it and wondering what anyone else thinks.

Status: offline 		I know several people with wedding ring tats. It's fairly common. :)

My neighbor had one where a vine from his sleeve came down and wrapped around his finger, it was pretty cool.

Status: offline 		i have tried to upload a picture to my profile of a tattoo that i have it says Master on one ring and slave on the other.
Very easily could be modified to put the words in it that you want.

Status: offline 		I, personally, don't believe in getting a tattoo for any person other than a parent or your own child. Relationships come and go but you're stuck with the tattoo forever. It's a sweet idea but that's all in my eyes.

Status: offline 		I always wanted a tattoo, dragon or snake, but i pass out with needles. Sir doesnt like tattoos, so that is good. Personally, no one's name would be put on my body.

Status: offline 		Actually, i have a phobia about needles. i pass out when i have to have blood drawn for any reason.

When i went to get my first tattoo, everyone told me how badly it would hurt but 'just wait for the adrenaline rush!'. Well, it didn't really hurt and i never got that adrenaline rush, dammit. The reason behind both the tattoos i have now was compelling enough to make me go despite the fear. Now i don't fear them at all.

my first husband is stuck with a tattoo of my name.  he refuses to get it removed, no matter what subsequent girlfriends/wives have said.

i have "Daddys Little Girl" tattooed on me, but that's more about who/what i am than about what i am to him.

Status: offline 		MRandme: I know the feeling. I was in the hospital when I was young for like a week with an IV in the whole time, and since then I had a fear of needles. Tattoos don't really feel like needles though do they? Its more.. of a warm scratching I guess, but I found I loved the way it feels. And it’s somehow addicting...

Usako and MasterTslave: I appreciate the concern, but I suppose I look at tattoos a little differently.  Two that I have right now both are like… mile markers or post-its in the diary of life. The first was of the BDSM symbol which I got once I found out about this lifestyle and who I really was. The second (and it is really weird on a guy, I get some shit about it) is a small butterfly outline, drawn so that it looks like it was cut into the skin and is bleeding, rough jagged edges and all. I got that after I broke up with a girlfriend of 4 years who I knew as a friend for about 10 and had a crush on since we were both in 5th grade. When she cheated and left, it taught me a lot of hard lessons. That symbolizes chaos theory, or the butterfly effect. No matter how much we plan our future, every little thing we do can affect us in unimaginable ways years down the line. Every little thing can compound until it gets out of hand, and that is just what happened between us.   So even if we split up, we have been married for almost 4 years now, and have two UM’s, so either way for about 16 years we will be a part of each other’s life. Right now I am her pet, and even if we divorce and one day I am not, to me it would be just another mile marker of where I have been.  We have to die one day, might as well turn this body back in well used. You don’t get extra points for keeping it pristine in the packaging.

Status: offline 		Keep in mind that they usually DON'T want you to wear a ring (or any other tight restriction that you wear near-constantly) over a tattoo. It can (and usually eventually will) ruin the tattoo. My dad has my mom's name on his ring finger, and can't wear a ring now at all.

Status: offline 		I know a female RCMP officer that worked in the town where I grew up that has her collar or "necklace" tattooed on cause she's not allowed to wear anything like that while on shift. It actually looked really good.

Status: offline 		I ve never been a proponent of name tattoos.. even ones like Pet whatever... what about something like..His/Her's that way its something significant.. and yet generic enough that emergency room visits, family, kids, co workers dont need to be concerned..and rather than ruin it under a ring you can get it tatted on the inside of your wrists.. Your right her left so that when you hold hands.. they lay against each other.. your hers and her his.. I think thats pretty symbolic.. just an idea.. SD
