I'm pretty new to the message boards and haven't introduced myself yet. I'm gingersnap from central Florida, I am a submissive female looking for friendship only.

I have a few questions for other Newbies, but couldn't determine which category to place them in, so here they are.

For others who are new, I was wondering how your experiences on the boards have been.

Have people given you good advice and seemed receptive to your presence here?
Have you met anyone you feel you could establish a solid friendship with?
Have you learned anything new? (I read through the Gorean section and learned a lot about that lifestyle)
Have you made blunders while you've navigated your way through?
Will Rob and Pamela get to Rodrigo in time to save the baby? (Sorry, got carried away.)

Curious how others are finding it here.

though not strickly new, I was at one time, so I am going to answer lol. I have a good time on the boards, but I also take everything with a grain of salt. Don't take things personally, chip in with my own two cents now and then, get into some good debates

For the most part yes, as long as you remember that EVERYONE has their own opinion, and when you ask for advice, you are going to get exactly that...THEIR OPINION.

I have met several people just from the boards...in RL...who are exceptionally nice. In addition to that, there are many whom I joke around with on here.

Have you learned anything new?

Of course, I am always learning something new, in one regard or another.

Have you made blunders while you've navigated your way through?

Yep lol. I love a good debate, but more than that, I like to try and prove that I am right lol. Does not always work that way, but hey, I am human.

Welcome to the boards Gingersnap :)

Thanks, too, MIti. I just figured out how to reply to an individual posting. Big sigh. I'll get the hang of it!

I have not made my presence known yet, so, only time will tell

One person who is helping in a guiding fashion

Have you learned anything new? (I read through the Gorean section and learned a lot about that lifestyle)

Some, but I still have A LONG way to go

The advice is free so take it for what is it worth...There are many people here who will give their honest answer but like everywhere on the net there are alot of people who have their own agenda

Oh, i hope so...

Welcome, gingersnap. IMHO, the boards are a great part of collarme. For the most part, people are welcoming and willing to be helpful. A lot of folks have great senses of humor and many have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. It's a great place for support, comraderie and learning. So enjoy.

I have got many good advices here and people seem to be rather open for my silly questions :)
I have chatted to one man here alot and I will meet him this week... he is coming to Iceland where I live to meet me and see the country... He got me by suprice when I just started to come to this site... and now I am waiting for his arrival here on Iceland :D We have become really good friends :D
I am always learning something new... I love to know new things and I am not about to change that :D
Blunders.... wow... I need my dictionary now :S
But I cannot answer the last question... because I don't know the answer to that question :D

So far everything seems to be ok. Im a bit too new to make much of a judgement on the site, but seems nice as it is, and there is a lot of wonderful info out there. (yes, shaded by personal experience, but then again so is everyone's advice).

I cant seem to get ahold of the chat though. I guess Im just not good at chatting with several discussions with multiple people going on at once. Perhaps, not my cup of tea.

Having only a few problems learning how the board operates. But fairly the same format as the system I'm used to via Invision Power Board which operates a board I frequent (non BDSM).
