Hmm, depends on if I fight against the pain or not. If I fight it, chances are it's not going to happen (not always though) , if I don't fight it, about 3 minutes of some good intense pain.

Good question, thanks for bringing this up.

Could you and any/everyone please describe what you personally mean by subspace? I'm not being sarcastic or anything and this is a good topic.

I have different modes that I consider subspace for myself. I will get back and write this.

Please anyone? Do tell....

Depends on the day and the person, i have gone out in the time it takes to grab someones hair, and i have not gone during a whole scene. Most of the time, when i am playing, i float in and out a lot, but i lose total track of time, so i couldn't say how long it takes then.

For me, there are two stages of "subspace", the first is a particular frame of mind. During my daylife, I am not a submissive personality in general.

I was doing a kind of dance routine where me and some other girls were acting as submissives, and before each practice (and the show) we were placed on our knees and talked to by the Dominant. Some of us, like me, were true submissives, and the Dom (who was very good) got me into my "subspace" within five minutes the first time. After multiple practices, just the act of getting into our circle put me into that state of mind, and I was good enough at keeping it that I was able to help the other girls remain in subspace. My partner, a girl named Kittie, found her submissive side during our rehearsals, and now is practicing BDSM with her commonlaw husband (who was thrilled to watch our rehearsals... we had to sit on a guy, me straddling his groin, her straddling his chest, and fondle eachother... he was most pleased!)

This is much harder to get into, although my previous Master was good at getting me there with erotic hypnosis... in this stage, I have had orgasms with very little vocal command, nothing else.

OK for me there is anything from feeling small, shy, vunerable in his (generic term) presence, to the longing promise of a sensual hair pull, to a focus on him, so strong, I lose track of time, place even, its dream like, odd and I really need him to guide me.

Then the visiceral shock of a slap (face is about 1.2 seconds into subspace) Next, sometimes "whatever" will leave me stuttering, unable to talk for a bit, disconected. This is not really pleasant. chances are most would define it differently

for me, its a feeling of

flying...if you have ever gone sky diving...that's what it's like...flying, freefall...a simply wonderful feeling that you don't ever want to end

Hmmmm, i think i will have to ask Thorns and see if He knows. I kind of fight going into sub-space. I'm a sensation pain slut that enjoys every strike of a toy.........i want to be in the here and now for it.

I think if i had to answer it right this moment it would be 30-45 minutes is the soonest.................i think. Thorns is in another training school at the moment, when i speak with Him tomorrow, will see what He has to say.

subspace for me is like floating.. i know what is being done to me and i can hear His voice and answer His questions most of the time but don't feel the pain anymore.Master loves this and trys to keep me there as long as possible....I too lose track of time and usually have no clue i have been on the cross or chained face down on the bed for 2 hrs .. it usulally seems like mins to me.
I also go to what Master calls cum space.where i have orgasmed so much and so often that i just kind of pass out from pure exhaustion. gettting into subspace takes varied amounts of time depending what is being done to me.. flogging wil definatly take me there and quicly.. i too fight it though as i want to feel those stings and the cheeks of my ass getting warmer with each thud .He can tell when i'm fighting it and sometimes hits harder to get me there

So true! It sounds far out, or "fantasy" but I too know that statement to be true, in my own experience as a submissive.

Isn't it the oddest thing; the next day perhaps, when your mind stays spacey, and you visualize something... and think.. "wait...?" Did it happen? But, it did and it was great and you look forward to the next time of "unreality"
