Hey all had a small success with a girl a couple of weeks ago. Without going into too many details it was a bit "wild" to the point that tying the girl down wether it's her or another one is of definite intrest to me

I really ned suggestions on "safe ties" for her ankles and wrists that I can then secure to the the legs of the bed

plus since I don't have a headboard and wand her hands bound above her head I geuss I would need advice on tying her wrists together and having the rope go down behind the bed before splitting into a "T" that would go to the other legs

I've checked and it's embarrassing to say, but apparently my idea is too "simple" with most other online help gogin for more intricate shibari works

..so any advice would be very much appreciated

My Master just strung some good LONG rope under the bed, around the legs and then up so that he could tie my wrists to each end of the rope.  It wasn't very fancy, but it worked.  I couldn't move at all!!  And I'm a real energetic person.  ~giggles~

Oh.  And after a few tries, we realized it was chaffing my wrists so, he just tied soft wristbands to the ropes to hold on to my wrists.  Again, it worked!  He also did the same thing for my ankles and then I was really stuck!

Hope this works for you.

well I have some leather manacles with some padded insides and d rings so that isn't the problem in itself, well maybe the ankles, but the "T" shape is goign to be the hardest part

Follow the below link to the Stockroom. The under the bed restraint system is cheap, about 45 bucks, safe and easy to use.

Theres also a nifty little strapping set called Rachels Love Web, basically its a spiders web for the bed, the corners  go under the mattress and they have a webbing across the bed, it fits single to king beds. I have one and use it a lot, you can use the velcro cuffs or add your own and it has obviously multiple attachment points.

there are many places you can get it, but this was the quickest link I could find:)

I am a self confefssed rope junkie and do rope suspension / bondage shows on a regular basis... Yet I still frequently use the velcro wrist bands with long teathers.

Despite my passion for rope bondage, these things are just ultra convenient for a rough passionate moment in the bedroom. Personally I have hardware hidden in my headboard/footboard for convenient anchoring, but if that approach is impractical it would be just as effective to anchor rope to later anchor the teathers to. That is of course, if you aren't inclined to purchase the bed straps offered by stockroom and other such companies.

You can also run ropes under the mattress - the weight of the the mattress and the sub should hold them in place.

I'm going to mention here that (unless you are proficient in shibari wraps & ties) its wise to avoid rope on the wrists and ankles. Nerves are very close to the surface in those area and are susceptible to being crushed.

I've had that experience in my ankle. Not only was it painful, it took almost a year for the nerve to return to normal and for the numbness to go away.

This would be how I would do this without a headboard.  Basically take the rope that would be going to the wrists and drop that straight down to the bottom of the mattress or box spring at the top of the bed and tie a loop in that hanging part.  Then take a long piece of rope and tie it to each of the legs at the foot of the bed with the middle of the rope having gone to the head of the bed and through the loop in the rope attached to the wrists.  That would keep whoever is restrained from being able to raise their hands as if it was this same setup but the long piece was going from the two legs at the head of the bed it would have more slack for them to lift on.  With the frame of the bed and the rope coming from all the way at the base it would give a harder tug to get their arms up.

Also if you are familiar with a trucker's hitch you could tighten it down pretty good making it very restrictive.  http://www.expertvillage.com/video/14327_knot-trucker.htm

Hope this works for you.

For a really cheap set-up, 8 carbiners, 4 nylon straps from carrybags, 4 nylon quick-release pet collars with d-rings.  For each limb, attach a carbiner, then nylon strap, then carbiner, then pet collar to the metal bed frame (The first carbiner from each set is the part that is actually clipped onto the bed frame).  Or, if you think you want a more elaborate or traditionally edgy-looking set, visit your local bbdsm store or order some cuffs and such on-line.  Have fun.
  Davan
P.S.--I once had a boyfriend who insisted on not using cuffs because he thought the aesthetic too 'harsh and ugly' thus he preferred mens ties.  While I thought the ties he selected were ugly anyway and thus worthy of destruction, I found his rationale silly.  I yanked really hard against said ties one day, loosing myself and also doing some temporary nerve damage to my thumb in the process.  Sooooo, not an advocate of ties.

Ya know, this may be a stupid question but .....

Why not just an overhand knot? Gather up both of the anchor lines coming from each wrist and hold them parallel with each other. At the spot where you want them to 'branch off' just treat the doubled-over line as if it were a single line and make an overhand knot.

From wrists to the overhand knot would make the vertical part of the T. From the overhand knot to the anchor points make the horizontal part of the T.
