Hey, free prostitution!  His Majesty's economic stimulation plan is already working!  [:D]

Apart from the last paragraph which implies those who go to support Obama are part time prostitutes I really don't understand what this story has to do with the inauguration. If the local authority want to put up signs saying "This is a prostitution free zone." I assume they are saying they aren’t going to turn a blind eye to it and want to perhaps reduce such activity with a local initiative which has nothing to do with any other event.[8|]

I guess it's like a so-called "gun free" zone.  Put up a couple signs, and magically the vice disappears.

Can a city in the USA make prostitution legal?

prosititution is legal in 1 or 2ish counties in Nevada. in a way what is the diff between it and alimoney?

Lynnxz -> RE: "Prostitution Free Zone" During Inauguration (1/18/2009 7:58:07 AM)

Yes. Several parts of Nevada, and Rhode Island allow it...

JustDarkness -> RE: "Prostitution Free Zone" During Inauguration (1/18/2009 7:59:19 AM)

I think a hooker gives you more pleasure....lol

WAs curious...because it is kinda hypocrit to make it legal for just this reason. Why not for ever.

Lynnxz -> RE: "Prostitution Free Zone" During Inauguration (1/18/2009 8:00:17 AM)

What? They aren't making it legal.

MichiganHeadmast -> RE: "Prostitution Free Zone" During Inauguration (1/18/2009 8:00:39 AM)

Yep.  Basically, you are paying them to leave.  But with a hooker you only pay once.

prostitution is generally a little cheaper (unless it's followed by alimony), but the main difference is in how you are getting screwed.

Yeah... his "Magesty" as California Head Mast said, is creating a "prostitution free zone" around his taking office. This differs vastly from the Bush administration which created "Free speech zones" at ALL of his appearances, makeing sure protest and dissent was never seen.

Hummm... temporary suspension of illegal business, vs. gutting Constitutional rights on a regular basis... hummm... which do I think is better for the country... hummm

Don't they say 'prostitution isn't illegal but solicitation is' like they do in the UK? Then people have to know the difference between solicitation and prostitution.[:D]

THere's no 'temporary suspension', it's illegal in the first place. [8|] Not everything is a conspiracy dude.
