Dang, Futuresocks.  People come along to help you out -- by which I mean woman-people, and dominant-woman-people -- you know, the kind of people you might want to get to know better -- and you hijack your own thread by acting like a dick.

Some guy on another thread thought there were 50 kabillion sub men for every dominant woman.  But the odds aren't anywhere near that bad, because so many men disqualify themselves before they even get out of the gate.  Don't do that to yourself, or it really will suck to be you.

Not to hijack, but I do thank those who would support Me.  Imagine?  My new transgression in My posts is not the caps, but the double spacing.  LOL.

I am so glad that there are those who appreciate My form around here.  This made Me smile today.  Thank you.

While those who use the keyboard as a means of casual conversation may have decided that double spacing between sentences is passe, those who type professional correspondence still hold true to the rule.  (Also, from someone who has taken alot of typing tests as of late, not double spacing between sentences will drop your accuracy)  I truly hope that he thought he was being funny with that quip, because he didn't leave an impression of knowledge.

You may be right in saying that a person writing professional correspondence normally uses a double space between sentences.  And I do know of people getting reduced grades for using a single space on typing tests as well as some college professors not accepting papers that have only a single space.  Personally, like you, I still use the double space.

Where the argument comes in is when writing for something like a book or magazine where having the right side justified is the norm.  When that happens most lines have to be stretched in order to have the right side come out even.  When you stretch a double space it often leaves a gap that is larger than two spaces and often looks unsightly.  My sister wrote several children's books that I helped with some of the re-writes etc., and she and I went several rounds on more than one occasion about which was really the "right" way.  You can find arguements for either way by doing a google search, but the single space advocates far outnumber the people that like the double space.

I am not disappointed as much as i will be feeling poopy that beginning friday,i can't have any contact with Mistress whatsoever till either monday or tuesday of next week.i know what you might be thinking..no big deal as it is only four days..however,i have come to value my time with Mistress sending quick notes daily and talking on the phone when we can.i will get through it because of that very fact.i count my blessings that i am even a part of her life.

I've always justified as I prefer the text to be all nice and even on both sides (and yes, I do alphabetize my CDs and DVDs and no, it's not a sickness), and I've never run into a problem with huge gaps between sentences, to my recollection.

Personally, I think it's quite silly to bring that up on a board where people are interaction socially, not professionally, and shows his quality, to my way of thinking.  He's taken spelling/grammar flames to a whole new level.

Anyway, on topic-ish, I have a hard time understanding how those that come on to the message boards whining about life not being fair to them will be a productive means of making themselves attractive to anyone.
