I even iron my husband's work shirts and trousers. It's like a chinese laundry here on Sundays: I'm a devoted little thing

I dislike doing housework/cleaning. But I love to cook and am quite good at it. So, usually, it's not a problem. When it has become one, I have hired house cleaners/keepers. I remember one house keeper ( in the old days ) who used to perform this service for me and my then wife. One day, I left her some Bolivian Marching Powder and then left while she cleaned. When I got back, the house sparkled, but she had scrubbed the numbers off all the temp dials on the stove. Guess it was good stuff !

I don't love it but I don't hate it either.  I like my place to be clean, organized and uncluttered, so I keep up with it daily and don't let messes or filth build up, especially in the kitchen and bath.  I love the feeling of the place smelling nice and clean and everything being all shiny and neat, so I get a certain sense of satisfaction from cleaning.  The only part I really have to push myself hard to do is the dusting and vacuuming.  I'm not crazy about laundry either, so I just do a load daily or every other day, so it never feels like I have to sit there and fold 5 loads of it at one time.

I hate cleaning house.  If I were wealthy I'd have someone come in every 2 weeks and clean house.  I don't mind laundry nearly as much as I detest housework.  I could easily move through washing/drying/putting away a ton of laundry.  But the thought of moping floors and cleaning out the refrigerator - ugh.

I'm working it baby, I'mmmmmmmm working it!!

Might be easier if I didn't get squicked at the idea of some strange, hairy, male ass in a tutu, scrubbing my floors though.......

I would LOVE the idea of a female service slave. She could be straight as an arrow and I would do my bestest to not even ogle her ass or tatas if that helped. Hell, I would even bake her some cookies to take home with her!

you mean there are actually men that are willing to come clean my house for free, no sex expected, and perhaps a spanking or bondage is all they would want in reciprocation?

*thinking if that's true, i need to get out from under the rock where i must have been living*

i loathe ...dispise ...hate doing houswork however since i'm a single mom (for now) i do most of the cleaning (laundry, dishes, etc) while my girls "try" to keep their room clean.

the junkiest spot in my place - my desk because it's overflowing with band flyers, posters, drumsticks, and notebooks (to scribble notes) as well as CDs to other little/big things collected from shows.

i like housework. It is so nice when things are clean and tidy... when i'm done i feel happier. The nicest thing is the feeling and smell of the fresh, warm laundry as i fold it.

Housework caveat: i grew up the oldest daughter in a big family with no dishwasher, so i do hate hand-washing large amounts of dishes.

i have a thing about drinking and cleaning too: i love to knock back a glass of wine or two and then putter around happily cleaning.

i love domestic duties when it is for someone else...laundry, vacumning, kitchen detail, bathrooms, any and all of it, but for just me...i do the minimum so that i can function. however, if i become angry my bathroom will be the cleanest anyone has ever seen!

I'm with you again Holldoll. I have to clean, I love the sparkling yummy smelling scent of Murphy's oil soap, and Pledge, andI even like the scent of bleach after I scrubbed the bathroom. I have to make sure all of the dishes are done before bed and before I leave for work in the morning. I'm pretty old school that way, I really don't think it is a man's job to do housework and after a hard day a work, I want to have him come home to a spotless home, dinner and a sweet girl waiting for him. I don't have children so that certainly makes it easier, and I know it is not everyone's ideal, but I like it that way.

I hate vacuuming, I think it's the noise. I'm fine folding laundry if I get to sit down while doing it. Lately though laundry is getting done only with these huge loads that take up all the bed. I like to dump the basket in the middle of the bed and toss stuff into piles belonging to separate people. My tee shirts, my socks, then his tees, his underwear, etc. And then fold each pile. I don't like sorting as I go.

But I hate trying to pair unmatched socks. If they aren't matched, they need to be tossed out stat. We seem to buy socks a lot around here, as the matches disappear. I think the washer eats them.

Worst is scrubbing tubs, makes my back ache.
