I did a search and I found one thread on the topic but it didn't really have what i was looking for.

I was wondering if licking sweaty feet and or toe jam had any harmful effects. I know there is bacteria present, but is there anymore/less than if you had oral contact with genitals that haven't been washed in a few hours?

I'm sure there are many sub men here with footfetishes.. have you guys ever noticed any long term issues with cleaning your mistresses feet?

I'm also wondering about women/men who lick men's feet (since i imagine men's feet are more sweaty), since i'm wondering if its OK to have my sub lick my feet after a long day or workout session. I don't want to give her athletes foot in the mouth or anything (athletes mouth?).

Well - if she regularly, and at great length, sucks your big toe, she may shift her teeth and end up with buck teeth.

Otherwise, unless she is immuno-compromised, i really don't think she is likely to catch anything worse than bad breath.

Of course if you are truly worried, you could have her wash your feet - a-la-Mary-Magdalen - on her knees before she starts. And if her hair is long enough to dry them, that could be really hot. [:)]

I like the hair idea, but the whole point is to have her to do it when they are at their worst.

I just want to humiliate her, not give her a disease :)

Athletes foot is  contagious, and so are many other funguses and yeasties and shit we can have growning on our skin, when they're hot ans sweaty, So you could give her the problem in the mouth that a doctor wuld have to take care of I would imagain yes.

If I'm remembering correctly that atheletes foot is a yeast infection, certainly one can get an oral yeast infection (Happens frequently with babies and immuno-compromised folks: thrush).  I haven't the foggiest clue about the likelihood of that; I am guessing relatively small.  If you just have stinky, sweaty feet, that's going to be a bacterial thing and I haven't ever read or heard about that creating a negative oral issue.  I knew a guy who loved the idea of giving womens' feet oral attention after they'd been working out/walking around all day in closed shoes.  I believe he indulged the interest and I never heard of any ill-effects. 
Also, I doubt that mens' feet are inherently more sweaty than are womens; that would strike me as an individual thing person to person.

So it seems like athletes foot is the only thing I really have to worry about. I've never had it and i avoid situations where it could easily be contracted.

I remember one time I was visiting my now x bf's dad's house and his step son( the dad not the bf) Had athletes foot and wouldn't treat it and would wear the same old dirty socks for weeks and weeks, so we were told not to go around the house barefoot because we could pick it up from the step son.

I of course, am always barefoot at home and kept forgetting to put shoes on, but fortunatly didn't contract anything.

i lick, kiss and suck on my Masters feet very regularly in all sorts of varying conditions (for 5 years now) and i havent caught anything. i think as long as you keep relatively clean, things should be fine.
 
my biggest complaint has nothing to do with taste or smell, it is when there are little sock balls left over on His feet and between His toes, they really dont taste good.

Some people just lack proper hygein, his other son *not my bf, there's 3 boys, and the step son*wouldn't change his sheets or wash his bedding, preferring to lay on dirty stinky stuff for months and months,

I had a lover that had athletes foot.  He used the same towel to dry his crotch as he did his feet.  Dumb move. 

He later accused me of giving him an STD without having a checkup lol. 

I told him how to care for his feet (wash and dry with separate towels from his body) and told him to get a doctors appointment in which the doctor agreed it was a fungus infection from his own feet.

But, anyhoo, he had a woman's foot fetish thang, digged my feet.  No excuse though for not having clean and freshly manicured feet and toes if you are going to be with anyone at all (even for just a f*ck). If you can't at the very least take care of your own extremeties uhhg geez.  What else can you not take care of.

 I feel spending money on pedicures is a waste of money, for me personally,  and as for doing them at home myself,  while I do wash my feet and cut my toenails, I don't care to do anything more with them. I'm not into painting my toenails, and callouses  on my heels allow me to go all over god and country barefoot and not be painful, unless the rocks are sharp.

I do not put a very high rating on girly girl things like manicures and pedicures, and stuff though.

I like to have my sub suck my toes and I have him do so after I have bathed. After 5 years no ill effects so far.

I kind of figured clean feet wouldn't be an issue.

I know it's not everyone's thing; but the whole point of me asking the question is that I want my tired feet worshiped especially when they are sweaty/been in shoes all day.

I shower daily (usually twice), wash my clothes regularly and change my socks daily; I enjoy good hygiene

But dammit sometimes my tired sweaty dogs need attention and I expect them to be taken care of without any worry of giving my lovely sub a disease.

Why can't your sub lovingly wash your feet (after work) in a basin while you are in your lazyboy?  Was a normal occurance in my home. Then she can suck your clean toes.

I don't want to go into this anymore since this is the wrong forum for the topic.

But the simple answer is that I want her to, and if there's no harm in doing so, then she should.

The basin and lazyboy thing sounds nice though but only after my feet get a good once over with her tongue.

My boy has orally taken care of my feet for nearly 6 yrs now and he has had NO side effects from it. Its usually done in the evening after my feet have spent a day in shoes and tights. I shower once or twice daily and change tights / socks daily but usually do not bath them before oral massage.

I do not think it would be harmful.  I worshipped a BBW's bare feet, both clean, sweaty dirty (in closed shoes all day) and also plan out dirty (wore scandals and had dirt, etc on the soles of her feet).

For just over a year I kissed, licked and sucked her feet clean.  Never had any illnesses etc from it.
