A few weeks before Xmas I discovered a lump in my breast. It has taken over a month to be finally told that its not cancerous. It turns out that its a collection of blood from a trauma to the breast, absolutely harmless but could hang around for years before dispersing of its own accord. We do play around a lot with breast bondage and we are guessing that this is what caused it. I need to stress that any woman or man for that matter should seek medical help if they discover a breast lump, no matter what they think it is but should also be aware that S/m breast play can cause lumpy breasts.

I am glad that everything is okay, Maria. :> I had a similar incident (Though I haven't the foggiest clue what actually caused it) several years ago. Scared myself and my ex- silly. Thankfully, much worry, testing, and running around to doctors later, a surgeon sat down, looked at me, and said "You have a contusion". A bruise?! I would've thought that something that caused a golf-ball sized lump would hav been something I noticed but the body reacts strangely to things sometimes and who knows. As you pointed out, when in doubt, have it checked out. Davan

Thank you for this post! My own breasts often get quite bruised and welted during play - this is good stuff to keep in mind!

i have one of those right behind my nipple and they called it a hemotoma. i named it "Herbert". Even the track of the biopsy needle has filled up with blood and is bumpy now. The biopsy was benign...but "precurser" cells. That was a year ago. The doc wanted me to have surgery but i don't have insurance so i'm waiting another year to get my medicare (i'm 64 this year). What is puzzling me is that W/we played the same way with both breasts but there is no "Herbert" on the other one.

it's this sort of thing that makes me nervous about boob-related impact, even though it's insanely nice... oy. hooray for it being nothing life threatening

Being a young women who hopes to one day have kids and breast feed them, I refuse to do any bdsm play or SM play with my breasts in anyway that can damage them.

i didn't get involved in it until after i had 4 children and breast fed them. Actually started the rough play at age 60.

Well, my breast mass (Herbert) has gotten bigger and it's time for another round of tests. Hopefully it is still just a hemotoma and still benign.

Glad to hear that everything is okay, Maria. I will add to what you said the following: my ex- and I didn't have bdsm as a part of our relationship (With the exception of the occasional ass slapping) but one year on Valentines Day during some celebratory adult activity, we discovered a golf-ball sized lump in my breast. Off we went to the emergency clinic. That doctor did nothing to allay my fears. Next day, mammogram (A true sadist created those things) and an ultrasound, then off to see a surgeon...who looked at me like I was stupid and said, 'You have a contusion'. In relief but disbelief, I said, "A bruise?!" He said, "Yeah, what did you do to it?" My answer and still to this day: "I haven't the foggiest clue". I don't generally bruise easily but the body sometimes does wonky things. Have to say, though, bruise or tumor, I'm celebrating that nebulous bruise each and every time!
