I don't know how to do that or if you can do that, but can't you just stay out of the chat rooms and if someone sends you a chat invite, simply turn it down? You can try writing to support on the other side if no one can answer your question here. There's a link at the bottom of the main page that can help you get to the support team to drop them a note.

..what BitaTrouble said..stay out of the chatrooms, and just turn down chat requests.

Chat here is Java based, so you could disable your Java entirely.  However, since Java is used exetensively in web design doing so would seriously limit the functionality at many other sites.  There are scripts available for the Firefox brower that you can tweak to disable the CM chat application, but you need some technical ability to do that.

A work around that you may or may not find acceptable is to change the security settings in IE.  Tools menu, Internet Options, Security Tab, Custom Level button will bring up the security settings page.  Change "Active Scripting" to disable or prompt.  If you disable, your Java is turned off.  If you choose prompt it will ask every time Java wants to load a script.  Personally, that would drive me crazy but it might work for you depending where you surf.

FR

Just go to the "My Account" page and check the box that says "Block all chat requests". As for the chat rooms...stay out of them.
