I'm a guy with a permanent make-up fetish, want to have my whole face done up with heavy permanent make-up. This is a big fetish for me but would effect my life substantially if I went through with it. I think about this way too much. Is there a way to get rid of this fetish or should I just go through with it and see what happens?

Why don't you try doing yourself up first and walk around town. Go to work..etc. Do everything as you normally would.
See how it fits on you before you make the decision you probably cannot reverse.
Transgendered live their lives as the opposite sex just to be sure it is right for them.

Why not do the same for make up?

Yes, it's plastic surgery.
I don't know much about it beyond tatooing eyeliner and lip color.
I know someone who had her lips tatooed.

permanent makeup is just tattooing the makeup on. It's not surgery...not any kind I've ever heard of. It fades, and will have to be redone.

As a life coach, I'd like to offer my perspective. An echo of sorts of the previous counsel, but with more "why".

Whenever you have a real desire and you suppress it, you give much power to it and it becomes a potent drive until you do something about it. Acting on it in some way is like a pressure release valve, that can keep you from jumping off the edge with it.

I met a couple of cross-dressers at play parties recently. I only really got to have conversation with one of them, but I really do want to know more about them as people in their lives. Some want to make the transition, some are happy to just cross-dress when they can. I am curious to know what they want, how they want to be played, what kind of relationship and lifestyle they each crave. The coach in me is all about setting people free in their own self expression, and every CD/TS/TG is different in who they are and what they want.

If this fetish is your hearts desire, trying to "get rid of it" is going to make it a more powerful desire.

My best advice is to find as many arenas as you can where you can dress and make up and let yourself out of the box. Over time you will then see if doing the perm makeup is the thing to do, and if it fits your life, or if you can make your life fit that. Get active in pansexual communities and groups as much as you can and take yourself out to play. Then the pressure inside the box won't be so bad.

I would consult a tattoo parlor or a firm that specializes in tattooing makeup--removal is possible but it it by laser, very expensive and can destroy the pigments in the skin--

Just get by on mastubation and fantasy for the next five years, and when you turn 40 your sex drive will die down and take your fetish impulses with it. Don't screw with your god given body to satisfy fetishistic impulses. In lieu of immovable body paint, try other "stuck" things:

1. Nair your legs.

2. Put on a pair of locking high heels.

3. Paint your toe nails.

4. Commit yourself to be in drag one day a week, no exceptions.

5. Put yourself in pantyhose during all work hours.

Transfer the impulse. Whatever you do, don't fuck with permenant make-up. You are a guy, there's no getting around it. Don't do the permenant make-up thing.

personally, I wouldnt suggest anyone do permanent make up. Cause it is just that, permanent. Cant change it when you get bored. And the good thing about make up in general, although I never use it, is that you have variety. You can paint yourself up to look however you want, whenever you want and how long you want.

I have a personality that does not accept make up. There isnt much "female" in nature, that I like. Guess it comes from not quite liking being female.

Yep, I heard much of the same.

One of the afternoon talk shows did a segment on this quite a while back. Anyway, they showed the horror stories of women that had these procedures done. One woman had blush attached and looked like a badly made up clown. She actually had to put ON makeup to cover it all up. Another got a serious eye infection that damaged her vision. The lips...oh, the lips...you can imagine.

The big issue, of the story, was that there seems to be no regulation to the procedures or to the people that perform them. Mostly they are cosmetic, and not under the knife, and thus almost anyone and everyone can do it, without consequence. Of course the consequences are clearly SEEN on the face of their clients.

No regulations offer freedom, but in this case, it offers poor technique too (in some cases).

I'd REALLY research this further, before making any decisions.

Just think how makeup styles have changed over the years. Can you imagine the poweder blue full-eye shadow for the rest of your life?

i've had my eyebrows and eyeliner done permanently - it's NOT surgery, it's not permanent like a body tattoo, it will last about 3 years but does fade a lot. Usually you need to re touch it ever so often. It's no big deal, just hurts some cause it's a needle poking through your skin, though it doesn't go in nearly as deep as regular tattoo.

I quess I am in the same boat but without permanant markings. I am a sissy baby and the more I suppress the need for diapers, the more that I want them.
