I have a gorgeous leather underbust corset that, by itself, is not what I consider appropriate for play parties, etc. I'd love to know what you ladies have paired with an underbust corset (above the waist, not below) to make it presentable for 'public'.

Plain tank tops work just fine. Or for dressing up, I wear a short sleeved top with a ruffled collar. It looks quite cute.

I have a pinstriped underbust, that I pair with a black pinstriped bra for good effect for sessions and photoshoots. I think there might be profile pix. A pushup bra and a black spagetti strapped tanktop is good for more coverage- and I've even worn it a couple of times over a wool coat. Odd, but looked amazing.

I have some nice underbusts and I often wear them with a nice bra or if I'm doing vanilla or something like a fet market I wear a peasant blouse.

Depending on the style, a collared shirt with cuffs on the arm can give a more severe 'business' look. My typical preference for wear with underbust corsets is a Ren Faire appropriate shirt. Something really form-fitting and liquidey-looking could be cool too. :> Davan

really anything that matches and or shows off the clothes/figure yet tastefull for public consumption

I find that a fishnet dress or top looks great under it (with or without a bra, depending on how much you want to show), or a mesh "see through" style long sleeved shirt with a cleavage bra. Or, a plain fitted shirt of the same color as the corset underneath would give a really cool effect.

A nice leather bra. I have an underbust corset from Stormy Leather and I paired it with one of their bras so it gives the illusion of a one piece for public events. And you can always add a leather jacket as well.

I think that would look great with a sleek all black body stocking in a satiny material.

Any top that will go with the style of the outfit, it can be a bra, or a bra and a sheer shirt over it, a peasant blouse, a tank top... I prefer underbust corsets to corsets that go over the bust, simply due to the fact that I am a bit busty and even custom made corsets don't aways fit right, plus it is much nicer to have some variety...
