Apparently philly is now breeding the "good old rock & roll."

This is "Silvertide." Most of these guys were being born and toddling around when we were looking at the back side of the 80s. It's an ecard of four songs off their debut CD "Show and Tell," due out on JRecords on Sept. 28.

I just fell over them a few days ago and am psyched for the cd, I thought I'd share.

If you have fond memories of rock in the early to mid 70s you might find these guys quite enjoyable. I do. I recommend turning your speakers up (shake the windows).

Not bad, it might be from teh 70's but sounds more along the lines of the 80's with a bit of metal added ta me, then again I'm an 80's freak.

I have to agree with Night Daughter here. Sounds sort of 80ish to me as well. Although I'm just a music freak in general. Anything from the 40's on. Pretty much anything other than country and rap.
I like them as well.

Never say never. I own it all. After all making a fashion statement is something I do quite well. Now, to see me in that garb in a country and western bar..that may be a little harder to do.

The problem I have with 80s music is that stupid dance methodology, except for Ska aficionados.
