~FR~ It's been several days since I attended the CM gathering in Orlando honoring Greedy's and Pirate's wedding, and I've only now become rested enough to think I'm coherently writing about the CM folks I've met. Without exception, every one of the CM people that I met were exactly as they've always presented themselves to be here on the boards. Meeting most of these people face-to-face for the first time felt like I had known them for a quite some time. That feeling of familiarity was a blessing for me on a day where I was not at my best, physically or mentally; the day went far smoother than I had anticipated. Unfortunately, I did not get to exchange hugs, handshakes, or spit with a few of the gathered CM people, and for that I apologize; it was my fault. Perhaps it was because that, at some moments, I was still feeling the effects of my recently completed ocean-going adventure just days before the wedding. Perhaps it was because there wasn't enough time in the day to get around to meet everyone. Whatever the reason, please know that it wasn't intentional and if given another opportunity, I'd definitely like to get to meet and chat with everyone. For those people that I did get to meet and talk with, thank you for your warmth and hospitality. I hope we can all find another time and place to do it all again, albeit perhaps for a much longer time. I've purposely left out the names of people for, like others, I'd feel badly if I inadvertently left any one out of the list. Everyone who attended the wedding knows who they are. For those who didn't, a quick trip through the various wedding inspired threads here in the message boards would probably give you a good idea of who those people were. I would like to mention the couple who were responsible for bringing us all together... PirateCommander and GreedyTop. Thank you for allowing myself and the others to share your special day. I hope as you continue down this now unified path that you've chosen, you will continue to use your individual strengths towards building your future together. From where I sit, I see your future as being bright and that can only inspire me to follow my own dreams. Thank you.
