~FR~

It's been several days since I attended the CM gathering in Orlando honoring Greedy's and Pirate's wedding, and I've only now become rested enough to think I'm coherently writing about the CM folks I've met. Without exception, every one of the CM people that I met were exactly as they've always presented themselves to be here on the boards. Meeting most of these people face-to-face for the first time felt like I had known them for a quite some time. That feeling of familiarity was a blessing for me on a day where I was not at my best, physically or mentally; the day went far smoother than I had anticipated.

Unfortunately, I did not get to exchange hugs, handshakes, or spit with a few of the gathered CM people, and for that I apologize; it was my fault. Perhaps it was because that, at some moments, I was still feeling the effects of my recently completed ocean-going adventure just days before the wedding. Perhaps it was because there wasn't enough time in the day to get around to meet everyone. Whatever the reason, please know that it wasn't intentional and if given another opportunity, I'd definitely like to get to meet and chat with everyone.

For those people that I did get to meet and talk with, thank you for your warmth and hospitality. I hope we can all find another time and place to do it all again, albeit perhaps for a much longer time.

I've purposely left out the names of people for, like others, I'd feel badly if I inadvertently left any one out of the list. Everyone who attended the wedding knows who they are. For those who didn't, a quick trip through the various wedding inspired threads here in the message boards would probably give you a good idea of who those people were. I would like to mention the couple who were responsible for bringing us all together... PirateCommander and GreedyTop. Thank you for allowing myself and the others to share your special day. I hope as you continue down this now unified path that you've chosen, you will continue to use your individual strengths towards building your future together. From where I sit, I see your future as being bright and that can only inspire me to follow my own dreams. Thank you.

Just a quick note to let all who care ;) know that I'm home safe back in madison as of last nite.  I slept for 12 hours straight and was awoken to dine on doughnuts and egg mcmuffins.  Now I'm back to bed.  lol  It make take a bit but I'll catch-up with all later.  Big hugs and kisses.  I may need a week to recover.  whew

Yep, I knew I was leaving someone out.  I finally got to meet & have a long talk with the fabulous LeMis.  It made me wish that we had met back when you were in Seattle & had no time for me, you social butterfly you.    Just think of all the years that we missed!!!

Hello charmers,
I too am home to the M's.  Great news!  I was waiting for my flight in Orlando and got a call for a job interview at a place I'm really interested in!  Interview this morning... And I did great.  Thanks to all y'all for putting me in such a good and happy place to walk in filled with hugs and support from you as well as the M's.  I felt very much a community of people cheering me on.  And then I talked with the lovely Linnea about this and that and we just giggled and air hugged all across the country.

Love and such,
me

D -- thanks again for the cheeeeeeese!!! OMG!!!!  Um... and, I mean, first and foremost, your wonderful company.  Jeez, I am such a foodslut.

And Linnea and sunshine -- thank you so much for tempting me to cross over to the Caucasian side.  Spending time with you was just delightful.

I realise that I wasn't able to make it to Orlando in person, but my spirit was undoubtedly there.

Pirate and Monkey (GT), from the bottom of my heart I would like to thank you for your kindness and consideration over the last week or so.  This has been an unforgettable experience, partly because you have welcomed me in to your hearts and partly because I never intend to lose contact with you so you'll be a constant reminder.  The phone calls, the Skype calls and everything else have made me feel so involved and I shall treasure the experience with fond memories forever more.

Sage, I shall forever be indebted to you.  You made it possible for me to hear the wedding vows and that means more to me than words can express.  From what I've heard you've helped all weekend and not to mention you picking up Bear.

Bear, your mammoth journey and the methods used have told me more about you than anything else.  Obviously should I ever start batting for the other side we shall immediately announce our engagement.  You're one hell of a guy and I'm not alone in my thoughts.

Caro, Lady Hib, and everyone else who took the time to jump on the web cam and Skype to speak to me, thanks.  You really did make me feel as though I was there.
I know I've missed people out but over the four nights I had less than eleven hours sleep so trying to keep track of who's who, real names, and everything else is nearly impossible.
To everyone who made the effort to make me feel part of the blessed event you have my gratitude.
Thank you.

Your reputation as a determined man remains impeccable , obviously we missed your presence in person but no one who was in Orlando that weekend can say different ...... you WERE there , and we know that you took the Bridge.

We consider your efforts a "signal" gift

I will take the oppurtunity now to impress on all crew and followers how much this man has given in terms of support and I will do that in one brief sentence :

EVERYTHING HUMANLY FUCKING POSSIBLE

FourQ is now First Officer of our ("virtual") Crew (as posted elsewhere yesterday)

as ("virtual" as that may seem) such , he will , as I will , kneel before no person (without "chosing" to)

Pirate you know that I could not agree more, I have also met a very kindred spirit friend, and so happy I did, he is just awesome

I'm home in bed, sick and coughing, and I am STILL riding high from the weekend.

I love you all. Thank you, thank you Pirate and Greedy and everyone who managed to get to Orlando and everyone who was with us in spirit (we felt it!).

Master is having computer challenges, so has not really posted much, but I know He had a wonderful time as well. (and He just loved being the sex object du jour. He just feels it is His due...and I agree....)

I must say, that Sunshine came to my AID *cough* *cough* more than once with the spanish-speaking housekeepers at the motel.

Now, I really don't know any spanish, but I'm pretty sure that when she asked them to leave me extra towels, she said I was a whore and that I was having a GRAND GRAND adventure (okay, well, maybe that part was correct), and a different man every day of the week (yeah, I WISH).
