I know we mentioned it in the wedding thread, but this place deserves its own thread!

I have been in lots of play spaces in cities big and small, and I am adding the Woodshed to my list of favourites! It's not the biggest space, but it makes up for it by being clean, well lit, and well appointed! The carpet is lovely (SO glad that I wasn't walking on cold icky flooring!) and there were even toys available for those who hadn't brought any. Cheap beverages, too---such a change of pace from many places.

Best of all were the PEOPLE! Friendly, welcoming, helpful... I really can't say enough. It was a LONG evening of fun and games, and didn't end until breakfast at the ihop.

Thank you, Cecil and company, I hope to be back soon!

I totally agree, they were so welcoming and inviting and it was a great experience altogether. It really made my first dungeon experience a lasting memory, not to mention the wonderful friends I made while there.

Warm and friendly and sharing of their toys. Also, the carpet felt so soft and cozy and The insulation dappening on the ceiling really helped. There was no echo effect that is normally occuring. I was able to focus even without a blindfold!

Oh yes! Everyone was wonderful. It was so comfortable, yet hot at the same time.

We have only played publicly a few times- down here in this tiny space that is really a Domme's place that is open some nights. But never in what feels like a community. To tell the truth, I was nervous, but, of course, Master decided if we would play or not. I'm so glad He decided for it!!

And being able to hang out in a well appointed, comfortable space and observe, so cool, I can't tell you.

For those who don't know..the Woodshed is not just a wonderful place to play but also to learn. Master Cecil is a consummate hand at needle play and suspension as many saw that night, and others come in who will happily teach everything from Shibari to Queening and back again. Jay Wiseman is booked for this coming weekend ( SM101) and there are also support classes for Tops, Bottoms, Doms and Subs, you name it. I love the Woodshed and all of the people in it. It is a community...not just a place to play.

I can't say enough about this place. As a visually impaired person, I was soooooooo thrilled that the place was well lit!!! I was disappointed when I heard that there would be dungeon play because I knew right off that I wouldn't be able to see. Imagine my surprise, when we got inside and I was able to see forms!! No, I couldn't see as clearly as if I were in a well lit house, but it was perfect. I also enjoyed the carpeting and the people laying on it lol (Sorry if I stepped on you! Oh, speaking of which, the woman that I stepped on, no, that was not part of the play lol).

This was Brian and Doll's first time in a dungeon, and they could not have had a better place to experience it in. I loved the availability of the equipment. We didn't have to wait long for the wax play table, which was great! The spanking bench was used ALOT, so we didn't get the chance to use it, but I did enjoy the view of those who were using it <eg> I don't think I have ever seen a barber's chair in a dungeon before. How cool was that!

The suspension demo was very cool too. Just everything about the place stated "Professionalism". And F, you are right, the drinks were inexpensive! I will be making a return trip, that is for sure.

Cecil and his crew were just fantastic. Cecil, thank you so much for demonstrating the Violet Wand to us, I was impressed. So impressed that I am now going to buy my own :)

The entire experience was awesome. I also wanted to say that being there with people that I knew from here made it that much more special. Thanks to all who were there that night, it was just fantastic.

The Woodshed was such a wonderful experiance for my girl and I.

I am so glad so many of our friends were there, and got to share in the whole close community that is the Woodshed.

So many wonderful stations.. dear gods the wax station is heaven!

We monoplolized the spanking bench for a while... *winks at Moga*

and the shaving station was waaaay cool. Might have to try that next time.

and to the folks who mentioned the birthing table that night Ppppppppbbbbbbbbllllt!

It was such a wonderful experiance to see so many of you having fun, and enjoying one another.

All of the scenes were sooo Hot! Moga, Lady Hib, and pup Oh just drool.... Oh the sounds.... *smiles* Poor Tulip got to hear my comments on them.

hejira and her Sir were just nummy. The look on her face as he was working her over was just mind imprinting. You could tell that at that moment only the two of them existed, and she lived and breathed to serve him however he chose. ~ That is damn sexy. ~ You made my girl more open to being on a leash.... and that is saying something.

Bear had some lovely stripes... Our Dear Poen made some of the assembled subs quiver in fear. ~ That was lovely on it's own.

Lushy was just fantastic in her "lushfulness" Having had breath play, and hair pulling by the Phoenix before I knew she was in heaven!

Doll got to find out that breast bondage is a wonderful thing.

Cecil and his crew are true sweethearts. So helpful. The place was well lit, you could tell what you were hitting. It was clean, and comfortable. Cecil was willing to teach any one anything, and I think that is a huge draw in and of it's self. I am so going to wish to learn the violet wand next time.. and more on cupping and fireplay. ( it has been ages! )

Last but not least.... It was wonderful getting my girl out of her shell... and getting to show her off. She has never been to even a night club, little alone a bondage club. I am so proud of how she carried herself, and of how helpful she was to me in another scene. Her attentiveness did not go unnoticed.. and as a Domme one of the best things that can happen is to have people tell you how wonderful your submissive is. That just made me beam.

Next time there will be more play.. but it was nice having her dip a toe in.

I just wish I would have had enough room to fully swing my cat o nine tails... but it was good just to be there.

We will certainly come back!

I visited the Woodshed in November. I had a wonderful experience. Cecil was great as well as one of the Dungeon assistants, Sigmund.
Everyone there was warm and inviting. During my visit they had a workshop called "Mindfuck"... I got a few tips that enhanced my play.
Overall very cool place and they need more business!!! Bring two friends, lol.

I loved being able to sit on the sofa and talk with soft, she is a remarkable woman and so sweet. I am so glad that I get to call all of you my new friends and will cherish all of you. Next time, I am going to drag Dave with me, I am sure he will find something to do at The Woodshed. <WEG>

We lubs all of you.

I think the greatest thing a Partner or a Dom/me could ever hear is how wonderful their partner/submissive is.

I am so blessed daily to have her in my life. She worries so much, and she frets... I wish she could see how wonderful she is the way we see her.

She does have that quiet strength... and just a beauty to her.

As I told Cecil, she has that wonderfuly shy quality that you can not train into someone.. you can not make them blush.. you can not make them be sweet... it is either there or it is not.

Gods I just love her so much.

She is having a rough few days... so when she comes back online I will point out this thread to her, and hopefully it will perk her up some.
